Question:	Is the carpet supposed to be completely clean when the water is completely clear
Answer:	If you are sucking up clear water, yes the area you are cleaning should be clean. However I let mine dry, pretreated it again and went back over it to make sure and the penetrate deeper. It seemed to work. My carpet had an older set in pet stain that I didn't find right away.
Question:	does it pick up pet urine
Answer:	You need an enzyme cleaner to completely break down pet urine. Especially for cats. If you don’t remove all of the urine, it will eventually start to smell again and could cause the pet to pee there in the future.
Question:	what is the total weight and motor capacity
Answer:	The thing weighs about 12 pounds. I don't know what you mean by motor capacity, but if you go over the same area too many times it'll pull the carpet fibers up. My office was a mess. I had Stanley steamer come in a year or so ago and they did an okay job. This thing was 99 bucks and in 20 minutes did a fantastic job. I have white carpets that were gray and now their white again.
Question:	does it come with the carpet shampoo
Answer:	While it comes with a smaller bottle (for one use), I ended up buying an oxy product specifically for pet urine and reshampooed the carpet. After drying, is now smells fresh.

Answer:	Too small but its a great companion to a carpet cleaner. Loosens those tough stains that the cleaner misses

Answer:	I have gotten wrinkles out of my suit using this product but please read your clothing label first. Some materials can not take the heat.
Question:	Can it clean bathtub & sink
Answer:	It didn’t do well cleaning my bathtub and sink. I had better luck and spent less time and energy using a mixture of baking soda and bleach for the mold around the tub. Used vinegar to clean the sink. I wouldn’t recommend this product for bathroom.
Question:	How hot is the steam and what the pressure
Answer:	At 3 bar pressure this device offer the steam temperature at 289.4 F It depends of the distance between the nosle and the cleaning surface. How close you get how hoter the steam will be but max 289.4F Boiling water steam without pressure is always 212F and never less.

Question:	What is the difference between this and the SteamVac also by Hoover
Answer:	I have been comparing them to decide which one I want, this one (hoover Power Scrub) has automatic mixing of the detergent solution and the water, so you can choose a water only (rinse) or water with cleaning solution. The SteamVac, you must mix the solution in the water tank, so in order to rinse you would have to completely empty out the clean tank and then add just water. The power scrub only turns off the scrub brushes when the handle is in the upright and locked position. The scrub brushes on the SteamVac can be adjusted for gentle, normal, and off. They both use heated air on the dry (suction) strokes to help with drying. It looks like the SteamVac might be a little cheaper but then it doesn't come with all the attachments the power Scrub does. In fact it is a little vague on which attachments come with it. I checked the owners manual for both of these for this information. The Power Scrub is about 2 pounds lighter than the SteamVac. The assembly of the SteamVac seems a lot more involved. I think I am about sold on the Hoover Power Scrb Deluxe carpet cleaner.
Question:	can the brushes be shut off
Answer:	There is a rubber flap on the back of the dirty water tank. If you open that, it breaks the airflow that drives the brushes. It won't pick up liquid while the flap is open though, so I spray and scrub with it open, then seal the flap to extract liquid. I'm not sure if that is the purpose of the flap, but it works.
Question:	Do i have to rinse after i shampoo? seems like an annoying extra step. never had a carpet cleaner that did that
Answer:	If you think of shampooing your carpet like shampooing your hair, it makes sense to rinse. Adding shampoo to you hair and then stepping out of the shower might make your hair clean, but it's not going to be soft. Long ago (LONG ago) when I shampoo'd carpets as part of my job, we were taught to think of it as hair: (a) Lay down a bit of water first; (b) apply shampoo; (c) rinse it out. If the carpeted area was heavy traffic, do just like the shampoo bottle says -- apply a second bit of shampoo, work it in, and then rinse it out. Over the years I've ALWAYS done that when cleaning my own 2500 sq feet of WHITE carpet in my house, and it always comes out fluffy, soft, and white. Even with several black dogs.
Question:	Would you recommend for pet owners? I have 4 pets and wonder if the pieces are easy enough to take apart to remove hair that will surely accumulate
Answer:	This was my first scrubber for carpets. I broke my ankle soon after I got it, so I only got to use it 3 times. I thought it did a good job on open areas. I did not like how it did close to the edges of the carpet where it meets the wall. I used it on steps and it did fine. One thing I remember is hold the dirty water container tightly when you go to empty it or the dirty water can spill out all over your work that you've done. Once you have figured out how to assemble and take apart, it is fairly easy then. I liked the fact that it gets the water up fairly well. For the money, I am happy with it, I have two cats. Must mention it takes some strength to work on steps and edges, as I used a large toothbrush. But the latter doesn't have anything to do with the animals, I was just giving you my opin of the machine.

Question:	will it kill bed bugs
Answer:	Never had bed bugs but it certainly killed fleas in my house. I would say yes, the steam is hot enough to kill anything like a bed bug. You have to give the machine proper time to warm up and using distilled water is the key to making sure the unit doesn't have problems and holds up for a long time.
Question:	Does it clean carpets
Answer:	Have not used it to clean the full carpet but have used for spot and used it to removed large area of wax. I will be using it to clean a small bedroom carpet and seats in my car.
Question:	Does this unit have a low water warning light or shutoff
Answer:	When the water gets too low, it ceases to hold pressure high enough to create steam. The indication on the pressure light gets lower (below 2), but you will also notice that the sound has changed. It is obvious when more water is needed.
Question:	What is the difference between the 1375 and the 1275? Thanks
Answer:	1375 - 90 mins of steam and 20 accessories, 1275 - 45mins of steam and 18 accessories. Biggest difference is the 1275 has no variable control on the steam pressure output to the hand nozzle, where the 1375 has a variable control to adjust the steam pressure depending on cleaning job you are tackling.

Question:	will this work in an older Power Steamer? [model 1631]
Answer:	I am not familiar with model 1631. Bissell 2x pro deep clean works well on carpets. I suggest you visit Bissel website to determine if the product will work with your 1631 power steamer.
Question:	Since it has scotch Guard, does it mean that I'm not supposed to re-run the machine with just water to suck out all the cleaner
Answer:	Great question, you can still perform a water rinse after cleaning to remove any access formula/dirty water from your carpets but this will breakdown the Scotchgard protection quicker.
Question:	how large of an area will this item clean
Answer:	I think it depends on which machine you have; mine requires 5 oz. of cleaner per full tank. It also depends on how much you use over each pass; I've used about 20 oz and cleaned about 800-900 sq ft. Some areas I've even gone back over.
Question:	how big of an area in sqft with The 48oz 2x solution cover for mildly soiled low profile carpet
Answer:	Mine: 580 square feet moderately soiled with some stains to get out: 1.5 tanks with 1.5 caps. This is very concentrated and very effective. Cream low pile cheap apartment carpet, 10 yrs old; prior professional shampoo every six months (dog and cat). Now I only use my old Bissell and this great stuff. If you had a Spot Bot it would be even less to fully clean.

Question:	Why is the price per ounce higher for the 64oz than for the 32oz bottle? Not cool at all Hoover
Answer:	So can we'd out who uses 5th grade math still and who doesn't.
Question:	Will this remove dried tea stains? If so, should I pretreat or use straight in the cleaner
Answer:	I have to say I was able to remove some light blood stain with just a few passes of my Hoover Carpet Shampooer with this in it so it should work on tea stain. For pre-treating and small "accidents" I use Fizzion cleaner since it isn't soapy and doesn't leave a residue. If you need to pre-treat I would suggest using that for heavy staining.
Question:	Can you use this on upholstery as well
Answer:	According to the label is says you should check the cleaning code on the furniture. Says not to use on silk, leather, velvet, vinyl or linen. Looks for code WS or W those are ok. Do not use on code X or S
Question:	How much concentrate to how much water
Answer:	For auto mix machines (separate fresh water and cleaning solution tanks) that's a good question!The previous version of product (green container) also described as "2X" said to dilute 50/50 with water for the solution tank. This new version states on the container "for auto mix machines fill the solution tank" No mention of diluting! I emailed Hoover. Rochelle at customer service answered "All our solutions are concentrated solutions. They should be diluted. Usually depending on the model of the machine use 2-3 oz in the solution tank and then fill the rest with water." So take your pick... the lable or Hoover customer service.

Answer:	This is nature's miracle to one of the reviews about this on their website:"... Thank you for trying our carpet shampoo and for taking the time to write a review about your experience. We are very sorry the directions were not more understandable. It is recommended to follow the machine directions but if the machine does not have directions you can dilute 6 oz of carpet shampoo in 1 gallon of water."
Question:	What is the ph level
Answer:	I have cleaned carpet professionally for years and can tell you that not all odors can be removed. Depending on the severity of the stain or spill it can sometimes reach through the carpet and affect the padding in which there would be no way to remove odors from. Also, using too much cleaner without completely rinsing the carpet of it will cause a sticky residue (soap) to cling to the carpet which also attracts dirt. Clean your carpet with only hot water to remove remaining cleaners that are in the carpet. Initially a deodorizer can strengthen an odor because getting an odor wet can also reactivate it. An enzyme will only work if it reaches the odor completely and is then completely rinsed from the carpet.
Question:	Do i need to rinse the carpet after using this
Answer:	Check the tag on the carpet. If not sure try cleaner on an inconspicuous spot to see if it is color safe

Answer:	Yes, you'll want to add 8oz of formula to the formula tank and fill the rest of the way with water.

Question:	Can we use this with Shark vacuum
Answer:	Yes, we have an interior pebble floor and this works great for a deep annual cleaning.
Question:	Does this formula foam up or is it foam free? the bissell solution i use now barely foams - that is what i'm looking for
Answer:	I would not suggest this. the bristles are very hard and meant for a deep scrub on tile or concrete, I use this on my porcelain tile. I believe Oreck had a wood floor kit with polisher./buffer.
Question:	Does this cleaner have enzymatic properties? Or do I need to use a separate enzymatic cleaner first
Answer:	I used it on concrete and it held up very well. Soak the area with extra water to help the brush move the dirt away.
