10 best tera rechargeable batteries
Tera rechargeable batteries are a type of AAA-sized rechargeable battery commonly used in various household devices and electronics. These batteries are part of the broader category of household batteries and are designed to be reused multiple times, making them a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable batteries. Here's what you need to know about Tera rechargeable batteries:
AAA Size: Tera rechargeable batteries are AAA-sized, which means they have a standard cylindrical shape and dimensions. AAA batteries are commonly used in a wide range of household devices such as remote controls, wireless mice, keyboards, flashlights, and small electronic toys.
Rechargeable: The key feature of Tera rechargeable batteries is their ability to be recharged and reused. Unlike single-use disposable batteries, Tera rechargeable batteries can be charged hundreds of times, reducing the overall cost and environmental impact of battery use.
Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) Chemistry: Most Tera rechargeable batteries use Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) chemistry, which is known for its high energy capacity and reliability. NiMH batteries provide a consistent voltage output throughout their discharge cycle.
Capacity: Tera rechargeable AAA batteries come in various capacities, typically measured in milliampere-hours (mAh). Higher capacity batteries can provide longer runtimes between charges, making them suitable for high-drain devices.
Charging: To recharge Tera batteries, you'll need a compatible battery charger. It's essential to use a charger designed for NiMH batteries to ensure safe and efficient charging. Many chargers offer features like individual cell charging and overcharge protection.
Long-Term Savings: While rechargeable batteries may have a higher initial cost compared to disposable batteries, they can save you money in the long run since you won't need to purchase new batteries repeatedly. This can be especially cost-effective for devices that require frequent battery replacements.
Eco-Friendly: Using rechargeable batteries is an eco-friendly choice since it reduces the number of disposable batteries that end up in landfills. It also helps conserve valuable resources used in battery production.
Precharge: Some Tera rechargeable batteries come precharged or "ready to use" out of the package. This means you can use them immediately without the need for an initial charge.
Compatibility: Tera rechargeable AAA batteries are compatible with a wide range of devices that accept AAA batteries. However, always check your device's user manual to ensure compatibility and follow any manufacturer recommendations.
Storage: If you plan to store Tera rechargeable batteries for an extended period, it's advisable to charge them to about 50% capacity before storage. This helps prolong their lifespan.
Tera rechargeable batteries offer a convenient and sustainable power solution for various household and electronic devices. They can be a cost-effective choice for powering your gadgets while reducing environmental waste associated with disposable batteries.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you use the charger on the Energizer Power Plus NiMH AA Rechargeable Batteries rated at 2300 mAh |
Answer: | You could if it actually worked. This charger stopped working within a month. I returned mine. Also you might want to consider more battery slots. 4 seems ok at first but now I got 1 with 8 slots and I think it's too small. |
Question: | Does this charger only charge in pairs? Is it possible to charge 1 cell (at a time) with this charger |
Answer: | I have owned this. The universal charger WILL charge batteries individually. There are 4 charging 'points' and you can choose to put one small battery (AA or AAA) in one point. Of course, you can also put two small batteries in each point to get the full 8-at-a-time figure. This also only applies to the small batteries. Cs and Ds are charged individually in each point, so their max is only 4 at a time total. |
Question: | Can this charge aa and aaa at the same time |
Answer: | Yes. AAA on one side and AA on the other. Not on the same side at the same time. |
Question: | Can i use Energizer CHRPROWB4 Pro Charger with 240 volts 50 Hz AC input |
Answer: | Hi Nikhil Singh, over at the Energizer web site they have some additional information. Look under batteries and then battery chargers. You can download the user manual for this model. The user manual clearly indicates that 240V 50Hz power is OK. The only problem you will have is the plug. The two-prong plug is designed for U.S. outlets. Of course, any plug adapter will solve that problem.Basically, the answer is yes. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can these be safely thrown away like alkaline batteries |
Answer: | it needs a QC3.0 to provide optimum charging rates. I think 3amps is the maximum input |
Question: | Are these marked Made in the USA |
Answer: | The specs clearly list the batteries it charges and it does NOT include 1.5v Li-ion cells. From the information in Amazon listing: Apply to 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion/IMR/INR/ICR batteries: 10440 14500 14650 16340 17500 17670 18350 18490 18500 18650 18700 20700 21700 22650 25500 26650 1.2V Ni-MH / Ni-CD: AAAA / AAA / AA / A / SC / C |
Question: | How does the Energizer stack up compared to the Duracell batteries |
Answer: | it does not make sense to plug in two cables. There are 2Amp or 3Amp USB power adapters in the market. Most of the iPad power adapters are 2Amp. iPhone's adapter is 1Amp. |
Question: | I have purchased before, what is the expiration date of current batteries? It's 10-2017 now. Thanks for your help |
Answer: | I tried only AAA / AA / but not C size at the same time. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Prone to leaking |
Answer: | Even though this item says it is for 4" dryer ducts, the brush head that came with my kit is only 3 1/8 inches in diameter. It doesn't reach all sides of the duct. Not happy at all. Even on straight duct, it only works partially. |
Question: | Are these from China too like the Maxell |
Answer: | The brush is a spiral and works just like a drill bit. When you use a drill bit, the displaced wood is pushed up and out of the hole. The lint brush pushes the lint and any debris out of the duct ahead of it. The lint was pushed out toward the vent cover and caught in a garbage bag. We have about 22 feet of duct and the brush worked great. After my new dryer was installed, I dried a load of clothes and noticed a red light was on next to "check dryer vent". I got the dryer duct cleaning brush, we cleaned out the duct and the red check vent light went out and the red light next to good airflow came on. Great product and fairly easy to use. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I am less interested in which battery last 5 minutes longer and more interested in what batteries leak the least. which leak least |
Answer: | My AAs bought in about July 2017 are stamped 12-2026. The AAs I bought in late 2015 or so are stamped 8-2025. The 9Vs I bought in early 2017 are stamped 8-2021. The AAAs I bought in early to mid 2017 are stamped 6-2027. The D cells I bought in December 2017 are stamped 10-2022. All are shrink wrapped so they can't make contact with other batteries or metal items in whatever drawer or box you store them in. I haven't had a dud yet and have used about 200 Amazon alkaline batteries. |
Question: | what is the guarantee date on these batteries |
Answer: | Bose qc uses AAA size not AA. Bose says alkaline battery last about 35 hours. 48 batteries will provide about 1600 hours of use but likely less if headphones are left on when not listening. |
Question: | How long do these last on the bose QC 25s and do you think they would easily last me a year if i go through 2-3 rechargeable aa battery chargesa week |
Answer: | The Amazon brand of alkaline battery meets expectations. I have used at least 50 in all major sizes over the past 2-3 years. None have leaked and only one has been DOA. Several Duracells have leaked on me and a couple of Dollar General brand alkalines have as well. The Amazon batteries are either cheaper or competitively priced therefore I have bought the 9 volts, AAs and AAAs in bulk and the Cs and Ds as I need them. |
Question: | How do they compare to Duracell |
Answer: | Perhaps with extremely heavy use, but not likely. I use mine for demonstrations almost monthly and the disks work fine. I did have to replace the gear due to the fact that the plastic broke, but I do move mine to varying locations, which could have been the cause of the break. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can these be left on the charger 24/7 or should I remove them after a full charge |
Answer: | I had the same issue then I found this online http://data.energizer.com/pdfs/chvcm4-ap.pdf I read somewhere (I cant find it anymore sorry I tried) that the light only turns off after X amount of hours which is based on a full charge of the largest capacity battery. Since finding this, I have been charging my 1300's for 5 hours as instructed, and my 2300's for 10. I have to manually remember to take them off but it hasnt been an issue to let them run long. I do believe that the product SHOULD turn its light to green when the batteries are full but mine does not and I just pull the batteries based on their completion times. For whatever that is worth to anyone. |
Question: | Do these come charged or do you have to charge them before use |
Answer: | Yes, it does matter! A single pair of batteries MUST be placed in slots 1 and 2, OR in slots 3 and 4. A pair of batteries placed in slots 2 and 3 will NOT receive any charging current. None at all. They'll just sit there! |
Question: | is the more Amh on a battery will be beter |
Answer: | Those AmazonBasics High-Capacity AA batteries are slightly fatter than regular eneloop cell, which are alreaddy slightly fatter than alkaline AA. So if you have to resort to using eneloop-lite in battery compartments, then those high-capacity cells are not going to fit. |
Question: | Why are these batteries rated at 1.2v instead of 1.5v like all disposable batteries are. Also the chargers will only charge them to about 1.4v |
Answer: | Yes you can use the eastshine S2 charger. These batteries are NI-MH. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the expiration date on these batteries |
Answer: | Just got a pack in clearly printed 11-2029, so it looks like current stock definitely is sporting expiration dating! |
Question: | Are they rechargeable |
Answer: | Oddly, these batteries remain on the list (as of Aug 1 2015) even after I've put a check in the "rechargeable" filter (to stop seeing non-rechargeables). They show up as "rechargeable" even though (based on the answers here) they almost certainly aren't rechargeable. |
Question: | Why in the world are they not sold on Catalina |
Answer: | Good question! I live on Catalina and discovered Best Buy has NO problem shipping Alkaline or Lithium batteries. While there were reports that lithium batteries caught fire and were therefore dangerous, they have since been made much safer than they were. The new regulations were to be restrictions based on over 100 watt hour batteries and intended only for bulk shipments, not individual consumer products such as laptops or tablets. This did not however stop UPS or FedEx from refusing such shipments for some time. I suspect this was due to lack of understanding of their own regulations, staff training and education on their part. Instead they choose to blame shippers for preventing them from shipping simple products, Amazon included. For some time after passing that new regulation, I had to have tablets shipped to the mainland, then at great expense shipped to me from there or brought over by boat which made me wait long periods of time to get my purchases. No fun at all! If you call someone at UPS's hazmat department it's like talking to a brick wall and as if they don't have anyone who actually understands batteries working there at all. When I called about a Backup UPS (uninterruptable power supply), they had no clue as to if the batteries in them were sealed or not much less what an uninterruptible power supply is! Heaven help us...Now things changed considerably and I am able to get phones, tablets, and laptops shipped directly with under 100 Wh lithium batteries installed, and I quote "regulations limit the Li-ion battery to no larger than 100Wh" REFERENCE: http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_transport_batteriesThis still leaves the question about these type of batteries still being restricted and I would love to hear Amazon's response to this. As I have stated, Best Buy has no problem shipping these batteries to me on Catalina, what is the difference between them and Amazon.com when it comes to shipping the same products? Best Buy shipments come through to me in the same simple packaging as Amazon uses, so I really do not get why this hasn't been changed and updated on their website and I am waiting for them to do so as there is no reasonable explanation for it.As you can imagine, I've had to learn a lot more about batteries than I ever really wanted to over all of this. I just wanted to buy electronics and keep them powered like everyone else, but no... I had to move to an island and complicate things. haha |
Question: | Can you list what other products use CR123A batteries besides flashlights? If you could be specific that would be even better. Thanks |
Answer: | We use these batteries for a personal ionic air purifier to wear on airplanes. https://www.amazon.com/Supply-Mini-Mate-Personal-Ionic-Purifier--Black/dp/B000B6CMZ4/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1464806480&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=personal+deionizer |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the mAh rating on these |
Answer: | They last less time than dollar store batteries. I only had the swing on long enough for me to do laundry (30ish minutes), then when I went to use it again while making dinner they already showed signs of dying by the seeing barely going. By day 2 they'd only make the mobile part spin and music play, but no swinging action. By day 3 nothing. |
Question: | When do these expire |
Answer: | I dont have the "D Cell" Amazon Basics batteries. However, I have the "9V Cell" Amazon Basics batteries & they are made in China like some of the other top Brand name Batteries like Duracell. Yes, Duracell is made in China. I'm not sure if this means that Duracell makes the Amazon version of battery or not; As there are many Generic or Off Brand name goods and products that are made by the brand name outfits themselves.I posted up my size because I'm assuming that the entire brand and all sizes of Amazon Basics batteries are made by the same partner/company more than likely. |
Question: | Are these the brightest for flashlight |
Answer: | Because you have a choice up top to choose between three different battery types. I'm assuming they bought the 9 volt version. |
Question: | Why does it say .04 cents a count when it's .53 cents a count? Very misleading, not happy |
Answer: | mAh is a battery capacity rating based on discharge current. 800 is very low and wrong. For a standard (bunny) D-cell, at half amp current, its rated at 10,000 mAh. Amazon needs to show the product data sheet for these batteries. |

Question: | What is the difference between the "Black" and the "White" AmazonBasics rechargeable batteries |
Answer: | I purchased the white label 1900mAh batteries and black labeled 2000mAh batteries several years ago. Contrary to other's comments, the white batteries are still charging up to full capacity, and the black batteries have all lost significant capacity. White labels say "made in japan" and black labels "made in china". Mfg Date of black batteries is AUG2014, and white batteries have "201409" imprinted. These have all been charged in the same MH-C9000 WizardOne from the beginning. |
Question: | will it be hot if charge it at 1a with eastshine s2 charger |
Answer: | 1a would be .5 C with these 2000mah cells.. I checked the IR of these cells and with my Turbo Matched 30 from Competition Electronics (these are a 1500 dollar cell matching system that we professional RC on road and off road car and truck guys used to match cells. Very important and HIGH TECH for the time system. Was made for Nicd cells but worked equally well on Nimh cells when they came out) and matched them to get well matched pairs for practice cells for Mod Mini Z cars and boats.. I used Enloop cells for race days and practice with these.. these cells give a solid 2050 to 2100mah handle, will give me long run times and with cells matched with a 6 amp discharge will give me a avg voltage of about 1.02v per cell over 25 minutes, my well massaged Eneloop 2kMah cells i match at 8.5 amps they give me a avg May of 1980 to 2020mah and will hold a avg Voltage of 1.06V per cell at 8.5 amp load over 25 minutes. Point is these cells are a very good value, even in high load usage these cells stand up a lot better then similarly priced Nimhs from other brands.. these cells offer 85% the performance of Eneloop at less then half the cost.. the cells hold up well until about 200 cycles then they deff start to have noticablly lower avg voltage over time at the same discharge curve.. but that's in higher load apps then most people will be using them for.. I charge these cells at .75C or 1.5 amps, at 1.5 amps the cells are slightly warm off the charger and that's how I want them, slightly warm when ready to run as the IR will be lower with a warm cell over a room temp one giving me less voltage sag as the cell warms up under load... These cells will be slightly above ambient temp of charged at .5C or 1 amp, the warmth will start to happen once the cell reaches about 90^% full charge and progressively get warmer until peak charge.. at .75C charge or 1.5 amps you will notice the cells are a fair bit warmer then ambient temp and this has it's use for high load apps like my Mini Z's and some times I'll even charge them at 1C or 2 amps.. that will make for a fairly hot pack BUT will give me the highest voltage under load for the first 25 to 30% of the charge... but will ABSOLUTELY shorten the cells life and I would not recommend doing that UNLESS you know what you are doing to the cell and understand the cells life will be cut by good bit.. meaning if I get 200 really good cycles on a set of cells when charging them at .75C or 1.5 amps, moving to a 1C or 2 amp charge will know it's really good cycles life down to 100 to 125... but you will have less voltage sag/higher voltage under load taking the very warm cells off the charger and straight to using them then if you was to charge them at a lower rate and have cooler cells... Charge at 1 amp and you will be happy with these cells .5C and under will give you the longest cell life for sure.. |
Question: | What is the difference between the AmazonBasics "black" label and "white" label |
Answer: | Amazon keeps switching up the game to keep us guessing. As of 7/20/2019, the black label/green top batteries are definitely made in CHINA not japan (just received some, and I'm sending them back). None of Amazon's descriptions state whether or not either the black, silver, or white batteries are made, so I would assume that they are all Chinese at this point, which implies all of the manufacturing, quality, and supply chain issues Chinese batteries are famous for at this point. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars for eneloop or energizer, etc. |
Question: | What is the difference between the "Black" and the "White" AmazonBasics rechargeable batteries |
Answer: | Updated on April 4, 2015To clarify, there are now three different versions of AmazonBasic rechargeable NiMH batteries:- The original AmazonBasics batteries came in black wrappers. They are made in China and have the capacity rating of 2000mAh. They are NOT as good as Sanyo eneloop batteries.ASIN:B0030T1NEA AmazonBasics AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries- The second version of AmazonBasics batteries came in white wrappers. They are made in Japan and also have the capacity rating of 2000mAh. They are (according to me) rebranded 2nd-gen Sanyo eneloop, so you can expect at least 1500 cycles lifespan.ASIN:B00CWNMV4G AmazonBasics Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries- The third version is also black but called 'high-capacity'. They are (according to me) rebranded Sanyo XX. They are rated 2400mAh, but actual capacity is around 2550mAh, just like Sanyo XX. The rated lifespan of the XX is only 500 cycles.ASIN:B00HZV9TGS AmazonBasics High-Capacity Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries |

User questions & answers
Question: | are this AA batteries fatter then Alkaline batteries ? i use eneloop lite where i cant use regular eneloops due to size restrictions |
Question: | can i use my eastshine s2 charger? or must use your charger |
