Answer:	Hi L-Factor! It depends on amount of dust or pet hair, usually I use vacuum cleaner one or two times per week, and each single day sweep on the floor with this microfiber dust mop. If you doing this you could wash the dust mop once per week. I suggest the machine washable rather than hands. Also you like deeper clean, after dry sweep, wash the mop with water get rid of hair and pet hair easily. Machine wash is the best way to release dirt from the mop. I don't recommend you to release by your hands. Because your hands is so Important for your family!

Answer:	It telescopes from the bottom so hold the part where you screw it into the flathead mop part and don't let that twist (if you've already twisted it into the flat head) then it extends/scopes from there.

Answer:	This mop does not use pads of any kind. You need the fabric “covers” that are made by O-Cedar. The covers are elasticized and washable. It cannot be used with any type of premoistened pad like a Swiffer.

Answer:	It all depends on how soiled they were but here is what we recommend: 1. You can take a paper towel or a regular towel and wipe them off with it and toss the dust bunnies/hair in the trash. 2. Some people use an old bristle brush to take off the dust and the hair. They come off pretty easy. Once the majority of the dust is gone, you can rinse them in a bucket of water or under the faucet and either handwash the pad or toss them it the washer. Let them air dry. Answer:	The widest part (which you put your heel area on to ease into a shoe) is 2 inches.

Answer:	I think it may be a bit wide for a 2.5 year old. My 5 year old has seen his brother use it. It does make putting shoes on easier though, so maybe it would work, but I confess I have not tried with a younger child. I'd consider maybe a plastic one for a younger child?
