How to install?

1. Choose the plates that fits the length of your window. You may not need three plates depending on your needs.

2. Pass the long locator screw through the plate with the hole. And align the screw with the slot in the center of the other plate.

3. Secure the locator screws with the washers and nuts. But don't over-tighten them, because you need to slide the plate freely to the correct length.

4. Place the plate kit into the slot of your window. Adjust to a suitable length and tighten the nuts.

Answer:	I'd have to say no on that. You have to be able to open the window and screen, put in the kit, and snug the window (or possibly the pull-down screen if you have one) down on the top. Otherwise you lose the benefit of insulation (of sorts) or stability. I think you'd need a pretty big jalousie slat to accommodate this!

Answer:	Yeah, i don't see how it would be a problem at all.. it would just have to adjust to the length of your window instead of the width so it doesn't seem like it would be an issue. Just measure to make sure it is the right size..

This piece slides through the hole from the outside to the inside of the home and gets calked to the outside siding. The other end is an aluminum 4" pipe that connects to pipe within the home. Usually a dryer venting system consists of three major parts: a metal flexible hose that connects between the dryer and 4" dryer pipe, a aluminum or galvanized piping system of 4" dryer pipe and elbows to get the dryer exhaust to an outside wall, and this Deflecto dryer vent which gets the pipe outside and has a flapper and cage so that critters can't get into the home via the dryer vent.

Answer:	Yes. I am using a standard shop vac which is 1 1/4 inch.......You should work fine....😁

Answer:	I cannot answer for Dyson. I only have a 5 gallon shop vac. that I use for all my cleaning needs. Pretty sure the hose is standard. Diameter is 1 3/8 inches. Hope this is helpful. It is a great kit. Especially the long brush which helps break loose all the packed lint.....Peace of mind regarding eliminating a potential fire hazard.

Answer:	I suppose you could if you have the correct threaded couplings. The advantage to this product design compared to others is the drill bit attachment that comes with the kit. I would consult with the seller before purchasing if it is your intent to extend the length past 20ft.
