Question:	Does the back of the mask make sleeping on your back uncomfortable? Is the velcro thick and noticeable
Answer:	Due to an injury in the military and joint replacements, I sleep on my back most of the time with the only changes in the elevation of my head. I have NO problems sleeping with this mask and do not consider the mask's velcro to be thick, nor do I feel it, nor have it wake me from sleep. I'm sure this is the only 'noticeable' you meant.
Question:	Does this mask hold in heat? Make your head hot or sweat
Answer:	It depends upon the heat source. If you're feverish and sweating, the mask is secure enough to hold a cold wash cloth in place. I sleep in a climate controlled environment with air conditioning and fans, and therefore it's not an issue.
Question:	Does it help you keep your eyes close if you tend to sleep with them open
Answer:	my eyes were drying out at night because they were opening just a bit. It was pretty painful. with my new sleep mask, it applies just enough pressure to keep my eye lids shut. the closure is velcro and it can be adjusted easily to apply more or less pressure. I have had no problems since I have been using the mask.

Answer:	Yes it does put pressure. I have bought this mask and in order to block out the light you have to wear it tight or else it will move and slip and cause a gap. When you wear it tight, it puts too much pressure on your face. Your eyes can't move freely because it's not con-caved to allow for REM. Also the mask is heavy, not light weight and it is hot, not cool as they describe it. Beware because they don't do refunds if you use it.

Answer:	They do not have a place for ear plugs. However, I believe you could use plugs in your ears while using this.

Answer:	Yes, there is a drawstring at the top. I use this bag a minimum of 20 times per month for making almond milk and honestly have never used the drawstring closure. There would have to be a very large quantity in the bag to make the drawstring closure needed and if it was that full you wouldn't be able to effectively squeeze it by hand.

Answer:	Hi, the dimensions are 12" x 12".
Question:	What about for side sleepers
Answer:	The mesh is so fine I could not count it. I have used the bag several times and no particles have passed through. It has been perfect for making almond milk.

Answer:	It blocks air flow to the eyes, for sure. It’s a solid material. Blocks all light too. But air can freely circulate around the rest of the face.
Question:	How do you prevent the mask from slipping off during the night
Answer:	The elastic strap works well. It keeps the mask secure. In addition, the cut-out for the nose at the base of the mask helps prevent it from slipping.

Answer:	I have very long hair and personally have not had this problem. They have a fully adjustable buckle strap instead of Velcro. This is a great improvement, easy to adjust and not grab my hair.

Question:	How long will this last? I've had similar ones from a different company and the covering started to come off after a month
Answer:	I've had mine for about a month now and must say I have not been easy on it. I toss and turn in my sleep, and my cat decided it was a great chew toy about 2 weeks in, but it's holding up fine. It's very soft and comfortable, you just have to wear it low on your nose to effectively block out light.
Question:	Do I need to wash before wear and what are washing instructions? Thanks
Answer:	No, you don't have to wash - I used mine right out of the bag. There was no bad smell, but I usually do wash my clothing before wearing; a lot of folks don't (personal preference). I have a similar silk mask that has washing instructions: hand wash cold in mild detergent, and let air-dry (flat or hanging); no bleach, no dryer, low iron setting if needed.
Question:	Does the strap adjust with velcro
Answer:	No Velcro. It has a small slider that adjusts the strap. BTW this sleep mask is my favorite ever, wonderful silky feel, great coverage. Have bought them for friends too.
