Question:	Would this work to drown out barking dogs in the neighborhood
Answer:	It depends on how close and loud the dogs are. I have used one of these since I was a kid and your mind focuses on the white noise that it produces and ignores all but the harshest of outside noise. We had a car slam into three parked cars across the street form our home and didn't know it happened until the next day and saw the destruction. It will certainly help.
Question:	Does the machine have a headphone jack
Answer:	The machine is not up to snuff. The motor goes out and starts squealing after after a few weeks. This machine is a power hog and it doesn't mask sounds well. Old technology. You have better options. Buy a reputable brand and check Fakespot
Question:	How loud is it? I need something decently loud for my newborn
Answer:	There are two setting for the noise based on if you push the switch up or down. I use the louder setting at night and when I was in college I would use the lower setting when studying to drown out noises. I think it is definitely loud enough. Hope that helps :)

Question:	When I turned this off after one night of use the body was very hot. Is this standard with this model? I am worried about the motor burning out
Answer:	Hi, we are very sorry for any scare this has caused you. Since there is a motor inside the unit, it isn't unusual for the unit to feel warm while it's running. All of our products comply with the strict UL requirements and we take the safety of our products very seriously. Question:	Does this have a back up battery that kicks in automatically if the power goes out
Answer:	Hello, Our Dohm Uno does not have a battery back-up, however, we do have several other options that are battery operated that might be the perfect match. Our GO, Hushh or Rohm operate on a rechargeable battery and will continue to run with or without power. Please check out one of these I'm sure you'll find one that will best suit your needs!
Question:	Can this be cleaned? Keeps coming on or off. Possible the something wrong with the button that turns it on
Answer:	(1) There are 4 screws at the bottom of the device, underneath; if you unscrew these 4 screws, you might be able to access the device on the inside and gently clean the components that have gathered dust and other deposits from the air that it's "processing"; (2) If the plastic cover on top just "snaps-on," and is removable, then you might be able to access inside of the device from the top in that manner. I have not cleaned it myself; mine is brand-new and I have just begun to use it. My recommendations come only from eyeing the device externally, and am not privy to its internal components assembly or electrical functioning. I am only assuming that its primary component is a fan whose air-flow or "wake," provides "the sound," as it goes through the slots or holes all along the circumference of the device's dome structure. I hope these 2 above suggestions help you access the switch to somehow remove the dust or lent that might be clogging its proper functioning or that might impair the "electrical contacts" that cause it to "switch on." Answer:	Received mine a couple of days ago and that's the first thing I checked. My 12.9" iPad, which is in a somewhat thick leather case made for the iPad, fits, but barely. It fits, very tightly widthwise. You can see a little of the iPad case, maybe a quarter inch, from the outside. I'm fifty-fifty of whether to go through the hassle of exchanging it. There are a couple of other candidates for about the same price. If the iPad is in a thinner case, or without a case, it would be perfect. As others have said, it seems well made and the leather is nice.
