Answer:	I haven't used this product, but I've used activated charcoal itself, which will absorb anything within your digestive tract. So this is my personal recommendation. If you take vitamins, don't take this and then take your vitamin immediately after. Take this first, wait 30 minutes to an hour, and then take whatever supplement you normally do. If you're eating, I would say take this 30 minutes AFTER you eat. Once again, I haven't taken this product myself, and I'm not an expert on anything. But I've taken activated charcoal, and the information I just gave has personally worked for me for activated charcoal.

Answer:	I don't know about animals and heart burn, but they work great for me!

Answer:	While I have all my teeth, I would not think these hard to chew for someone used to chewing without teeth. There is a candy-like thin outer coating. You could suck on them until the coating is gone and the insides are easily chewed, like a stale gummy (slightly harder than a 'fresh' gummy would be). I hope that helps. As far as working, they work great to relieve heartburn/acid indigestion.
