Saline is highly corrosive and is not hygienic to store for later use. Any solution that is allowed to remain in the unit when not in use will leak out. Cleaning Tips: 1) Rinse the water tank thoroughly after each use especially if using intermittently and allow it to air dry. 2) Rinse SinuPulse with diluted vinegar (2:1) every 4-6 weeks to disinfect and decalcify any mineral deposits. 3) Do not use alcohol or dishwashing detergents.
