Answer:	I wash with whites using hot water option and Tide with bleach (granules). This solves odor issues for me as well as providing cleaning. I do not know how much fluid the mattress pad contained when I washed in the past however.

Answer:	Definitely! I switched from using the disposable puppy pads to using these pads for my three small dogs. They work wonderfully! I just throw them in the washing machine with some bleach and hot water to wash and they come out beautifully. I save money on not having to buy disposable puppy pads, and I'm not creating more trash for the landfill. My suggestion for switching from disposable puppy pads to these pads is to put a puppy pad next to this pad on the floor and gradually transition your dog to the new pads. My 15 yr old pug had a bit of a challenge at first, thinking she was trying to "go" on something she should not. She was looking for the puppy pads, but it did not take very long for her to realize that these pads were the "new thing" for her to use.

Answer:	I would email the company, but I believe this is the only pad I've found that is just cloth. The backing non-slip dots do not appear to be latex, but I'm not certain. These pads work VERY well.

Answer:	Yes, it does stay in place, better than any other pad I’ve purchased and I’ve purchased many different kinds. Whether or not it will stay that way after several washings remains to be seen. Almost all of the other pads I’ve purchased have lost their grip after several machine washings (using bleach, which the label states is fine to use). Very frustrating to have to try to straighten a pad out in the middle of the night just because I’ve turned over. Grrr!

Answer:	I put it under the sheet. It is more discreet and tends to move around a little less. And I am much more concerned about protecting the waterproof mattress pad which is much bulkier to wash than a fitted sheet is.

Answer:	I have waterproof covers on mattress. Then I put fitted sheet., followed by the linenspa cover, then the top sheet and blankets. This saves me from having to change the sheets every day. I just get him up and dressed and put the cover in the washer. The one thing I would have liked is if it had a side piece of linen that I could tuck under the mattress on the sides. Since there is none I use part of the cover on the side to tuck underneath. This doesn’t allow it to cover the full size of the mattress but since it is for one elderly man, who usually stays on it. The reason I tuck it under is because if he is having a particularly restless night, he pulls it out and then I’m back to laundering the sheets again. I suggest if you buy this that you get the largest one that makes sense so you can do the same. His body weight on the mattress keeps it in place. I remember having one when my daughter was a baby that had the “tuckable” /unpadded sides. This product launders well. Good luck.

Answer:	I have a standard white porcelain toilet and it matches just fine

Answer:	As I recall, it didn't come with wingnuts. It has a weird tension based design where you push up the hollow cylindrical piece from underneath and screw in the screws from the top (you have to apply pressure to the bottom piece as you screw the screw in or the threads won't collapse around the screw and "grab" it). As the screw tightens it pulls the bottom piece up and produces more tension causing it to wedge into the toilet screw holes. The installation was perplexing to me and I found no videos or instructions on it, but I did find that what I outlined above worked.The problem, however, is that my son sat on it and peed out the front of the toilet all over the wall multiple times (there is a gap between the top seat and the regular toilet seat). I was unable to train him the appropriate way to use it and decided to can it to avoid having to constantly clean the wall and floor underneath the toilet. Hope this helps.

Question:	How many do you get
Answer:	Hmm. Sometimes when you push too hard on these types of covers they can clamp down and be harder to open. I'm not having a hard time with mine and it opens easily. So if you've never opened it before then maybe it's just a bit stuck or you're pushing too hard. It had to be opened at some point to put the batteries in before packaging so I would keep trying. They are sturdy. I don't think you'll break it. My kids drop ours regularly. Hope you get it open.

Answer:	I think this would work very well for a low vision person. Even if the numbers were difficult to see, the red field is very easy to see, and you can easily 'tell the time' just by looking at that field.
