Answer:	Take a needle and thread and put it through the hole in the small end of the cord lock, leaving the end of the thread hanging out. Loop it around the cord and back through the lock. Holding the thread end and needle, pull the cord through the lock using the thread to pull it.

Answer:	The sole is made of a hard rubber that is fairly rigid. The sole will bend and flex as you walk. Very comfortable shoes.

If this shoe is a little wide for you when you get it, you can also pull out that foot bed and place a form pad, like a Dr. Schols and they replace our foot bed pm top and they takes up room and also pushes the arch a little higher up. Question:	Do these stay on your feet securely? I have had clogs that I could walk out of
Answer:	Talcum powder helps with the squeaking maybe for a few days at a time but it doesn't get rid of it. My Profi Birkis started making noise after about 14 months of use and having washed the insoles several times. I had to purchase new Birkenstock cork insoles (They fit both the profi and super birki) to get them to stop. The original polyurethane insoles were pretty worn out. I purchased the insoles for $33 locally, but they are available on Ebay shipped from Germany for around $23 total.

Answer:	These shoes run at least a full size large. If you where a size 12 i would recommend a size 45 or maybe even a size 44 if your feet are narrow.

Answer:	The Specialist has the classic crocs croslite sole, Bistro has a special non-slip with closer-together treads. Bistro isn't so great for outdoors, that tight tread sole clogs up with dirt rather quickly. Specialists are much easier to clean dirt from the bottom. Both have no holes. I'd say Bistro is for indoor work, Specialist best for outdoor.

Answer:	Yes, it would work to darken any leather, including cord. I would test it on a small area or sample first. Some cording that looks like leather, is not leather at all and is actually synthetic. It will have varied and possibly messy results on synthetic cord. I hope that this helps.

Answer:	No but it doesn't contain a stain like Tanners darkening oil. I didn't notice it did much either especially for the price. I found olive oil or pure neatsfoot oil works as well if not better and it's less expensive.
