Question:	Do these fit well for people with flat feet
Answer:	Since it's a leather sneaker they are not as lightweight as a nylon sneaker, but the solid comfort makes up for the heavier shoe. I have a huge bunion on my right foot and it never bothers me in these sneakers. Because of the bunion I usually have to buy a wide in any shoe I wear for an extended time, but because New Balance seem to run wider than other brands I can wear a 9B all day without feeling any discomfort. I love these shoes.

Answer:	No. These run smaller and I think narrower. I ordered 7.5 and had to return them for an 8.00. They were just as narrow as the smaller size so ordered wide. Once you get the correct fit, they are great.

Answer:	There is an 800 number on the package photo on the right. It is pretty clear that multiple people here do not have a clue what vegan means. This is made by Bayer, and thus a European company. In Europe they allow way less chemicals in the daily lives of the people. I would call the number and ask. I don't know the answer, but they would. Shame on you all who are joking and being rude. Veganism is not using animals. It is really simple: it is not only what vegans eat, but what the products they buy, whenever possible, doesn't come from animals or their by products. Glues, plastics, medications, personal care products, etc. all often have animal products in them. Dyes, too. It is simply a desire to not cause suffering to others. Really simple.

Answer:	Great question! Apply a small amount of mild hand soap and warm water to a soft tooth brush and gently cleanse the top cover of the insoles. Allow them to air dry. PLEASE do not machine wash or dry them! Thanks for checking in with us.

Answer:	I don't know if they will last for years.....it might all depend if you wear them every day.....they appear to be pretty sturdy.

Answer:	They are pretty thin. There is a molded plastic plate in the arch and heel areas and the rest is a thin foam material. For me, there was above average support and pain relief, since most inserts I have purchased over the years have done little to nothing. Because they are thin, I put them on top of the insole that is already in the shoe instead of replacing them. They are more comfortable and work better than my specialty arch support inserts.
Question:	Do these insoles, for flat feet, have adequate heel cushion? I need this due to pain from heel spurs
Answer:	To my knowledge heel spurs can occur due to lack of arch and medial support of the foot. The Samurai by supporting those areas well will stop your heel from hurting. Tip , keep your calves well stretched and strong as tightness in that area will cause heel pain. The Samurai insole has remedied my heel pain when I run but calf stretches have helped me prevent any foot pain coming back. Give them a go they have been great for me!

Answer:	Yes, these are MUCH better! My doctor told me that Dr. Scholl's are not worth the money since they do not work because they do not support the feet correctly. These insoles are wonderful. My podiatrist said they were as good as the ones he sold in his office!

Answer:	This is a great question. I have very flat feet and I have tried the $$$$ podiatrist inserts and approx 20 different types of arch support insoles. My knees have become a chronic problem. When I wear "flat foot" inserts I have noticed that my ankles still rotate inward. About two years ago, I decided to order and test five different types of "high arch" inserts. Two of the "high arch" inserts lift my ankle into a normal position and I feel much less pain in my knees. The "flat foot" inserts that I have tried have a low arch and don't align my ankles, knees, and hips properly.

Answer:	I have not tried in a size 3 but look into the 3/4 length ones not full length. I have a pair and use them in dress shoes because it stops short of the ball of the foot/toes.

Answer:	These should be worn all the time, but yes, please don't go dancing without them. Just be aware, you may need to allow your feet to get used to them. Your feet may have gone a little flat (as most people's do), and you should wear them a few hours at a time at first, for the first couple weeks, bring your old insoles with you, so the arch in your foot can become strong again, they will be sore at first. It's completely worth it though. I even have a pair in my house shoes.

Instruction for Cutting

Step 1. Remove the original insoles from your shoes.

Step 2. Place the new insoles with the original insoles back to back.

Step 3. Align the two insoles by lining up the back of the heel.
