How to use:

Step 1: Wash your hands. Fill the clean bottle up to the fill line (500ml) with lukewarm distilled water or previously boiled water.

Step 2: Cut the Nasal Wash Salt pour its contents into the bottle. Tighten the cap & tube on the bottle securely.

Place one finger over the tip of the cap and shake the bottle gently to dissolve the mixture.

Step 3: Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head down. Keeping your mouth open and without holding your breath,

place cap snugly against your right nostril and Squeeze Bottle Gently until the solution starts draining from the Opposite nostril or from your mouth.

Step 4: Blow your nose gently, without pinching your nose completely because this will apply pressure on the eardrums.

Step 5: Now repeat steps 3 & 4 for your left nostril.

Question:	How do you disinfect/clean this Nasaline product? There is nothing online about it
Answer:	The salt, in the concentration used should do most of the cleaning though Hydrogen Peroxide is a good idea. Make sure to take the pieces apart to air dry completely before uses. Alcohol seems a bit harsh BUT is you are using it to rid yourself of a sinus infection definitely get serious about disinfecting. Mine is mostly congestions/allergy maintenance issues, but if I had a flu/cold/sinusitis I'd be cleaning it with HP of something. (I never store it in the case as it traps in moisture and that can cause problems.
Question:	Does it come with any saline packets, or do you have to get/make your own
Answer:	Buy yourself some small screw top containers (5 gram ones here on Amazon is what I bought.) you can measure your non-iodized salt (about 1/2 t. with just a pinch of baking soda if you like) and save a bunch of money over those "convenience packets." Answer:	Just like a toothbrush, it's good to replace it after 5 or 6 months. I use mine longer and never have a problem, though. I take it apart, shake it out to dry it and wrap the two pieces in a dry towel and set it there for the next time after each use.

Answer:	10,since my initial review ,,I have called the company because the syringe becomes hard and starts to stick after 8 weeks,it is supposedly good for at least 4 months. They were very helpful. After using the syringe you should wash it,dry with a paper towel and insert the plunger into the syringe to retain it,s shape.

Answer:	noni, I have usually run hot-tea(short of boiling) through the chamber, the slide is a softer plastic. I have also washed, rinsed with vinegar, and rinsed with alcohol to ensure cleanliness.. both of us have used it during colds, and both of us have not re-infected each other and reduced the length of the sinus illness considerably. But I also need to replace the nasaline irrigator because the cleaning can harden the soft slide plastic.

Answer:	I certainly wouldn't do it. But I opt to heat the water and then pour into the neti pot. Since I irrigate very often I buy a gallon of distilled water and put by bathroom sink and fill irrigator, add some salt, some xylitol, (using without salt added burns like crazy) , and irrigate. You get adapted to room temp irritations quickly.

Answer:	Rinse it out with a few ounces of hydrogen peroxide and you can also do a drop a dishwasher soap and water as well.

Answer:	Just like a drinking glass except you have to remember that’s it plastic. Rinse in super hot water with dish soap and a sponge (on the outside of it) then rinse with clear water. You can then run a little listerine thru it, let it set for 15-20 minutes then rinse again. Just do the best you can to keep it reasonably clean. The listerine thing really kills the germs after the bulk cleaning with soapy water first.
