| Answer: | That's right. The only pad on it is thin piece like on a bandaid. However, I'm prone to large wounds on my legs with this thin skin. If this bandaid is large enough for the wound, I'll get some 2 x 3 bandaid non-stick pads as very soft and comfortable layer to help protect the wound and absorb any oozing that may be leaking. If your sores are in the tail bone area, a DME store, can get you these foam, or jel-filled, chair pillows with the tail bone area cut out that really helped me. I still use them in all the chairs in our house. |
