Check out the image with the test results on Candida Albicans which is a fungus like mold. We specifically tested it on a fungus to make sure it had enough strength to kill mold. Mold is a difficult microbe to kill so set the light as close as possible to the mold and let it run for at least 1 hour. The light can only kill what it hits so if the mold is in a soft or porous surface light wood or grout, it may not work as well because the mold is inside where the light cannot penetrate.
