Answer:	I tell you what I do then its up to you.....all these various batterys are "keyed" on the shaft so that they fit a particular tool. I remove the "key" part and then all my batterys fit all my various tools, I just grab one and go. I hope you understand what I mean. I've done it for years and never had a problem, I came up with the idea when a battery quit and I wasn't finished and looked around and saw I had 3 perfectly good batterys sitting on my work bench.....but wouldn't fit the tool because of the key issue.....they all fit now.

Answer:	By "adjusting" the keyed shaft, you make it fit, so, yes it does. I have adjusted all my batteries to make them all interchangeble. I ALWAYS have a charged battery. This is really a time and money saving trick.
