Answer:	I don't think it wold block out sniffling and allow you to hear a lecture. It's much more geared to protecting your ears from loud sounds like loud bass in clubs or a concert and loud street noise like sirens. They may block out the sniffling, but they would make the lecture hard to hear.
Question:	Can you keep the detachable wire on and still have the same sound quality? Or do they have to be off when using them at a concert for example
Answer:	The string does not affect the sound. Just leave it always on that way if one falls out it’s attached to the other one. It’s essentially designed so they dangle around your neck when not in use. It’s very useful to keep them there a while to dry after a sweaty session.

Question:	can these earplugs be worn inside a helmet for motorcycle riding to muffle the wind sound
Answer:	I always wear earplugs while motorcycling. I wear these with my motorcycle helmet now because I always have them on my key chain. As these are slightly stubby, they aren't displaced when you pull the helmet on. I'd recommend them for this purpose.
Question:	Would these be good for freakishly small ear canals? (When I buy earbuds the smallest size is still uncomfortably large for me
Answer:	I have small ear canals, one side especially small and the small size in these works great for me in both ears. They are very soft and comfortable. I have trouble with extended wearing of other small sizes but I think these are going to be the best I have found. I definitely recommend them.
Question:	I use them to sleep but they keep falling out the ear orifice. Waht can I do to avoid that? thanks
Answer:	it may be the size or shape of your ear, but you can try rinsing them with a mild soap with warm water and that should help. Be sure they are fairly snug in your ear canal: to the point where you can just about grab them with your fingernails.

Question:	exactly how waterproof are they? I want to use them for swimming, but I absolutely cannot get water in one of my ears
Answer:	In my experience the tightest fit is accomplished by using the foam plugs rather than the S,M,L rubber inserts. I would be worried they foam would actually allow water through the material itself. I use them for noise reduction so i can't say completely what your experience would be.
Question:	Would these work for someone who has Autism who needs to reduce the level of noise while out in crowds
Answer:	I use these earplugs several times per week, so I can say they definitely muffle harmful noise to a safe level. They will take the "edge" off of crowd noise, but I can't say whether they would be satisfactory for someone with Autism. The molding process for these plugs is relatively simple, and they feel secure in the ear... it's easy to forget they're in there.
Question:	Would these work for protection while shooting
Answer:	If the ear plugs are formed correctly they are great for outdoor shooting. I would hesitate to use them, without ear muffs, for indoor range work .
Question:	Do they contain any metal? Are they safe for an mri machine
Answer:	We haven't tested them with an MRI machine before but there are no metal or magnetic components to our earplugs.

Question:	How do you clean them
Answer:	I wet a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean them. This is preferable to soaking the plug in alcohol which might deform their shape. Otherwise just dilute Dawn dish soap in water, still using a Q-tip to clean the crevices. These are great, I've been to several very loud concerts this year and was able to enjoy them more with Eardials over the industrial foam plugs I usually use.
Question:	Why is the snr rating (20 db reduction) so much higher than the nnr rating (11 db)? which one is more accurate? shouldn't they be approx the same
Answer:	No, they are never the same, you can check any other test result for any other earplug. Although there is no direct SNR/NRR conversion, the NRR is always lower because it takes into account standard deviation and the calculation method is slightly different. I personally think that SNR is more accurate and NRR is the worst case scenario in edge cases.
Question:	Would these earplugs work for shooting
Answer:	Buy active over the ear protection for shooting. They cost around $40-100 and will have you hearing people whispering while completely blocking out the damaging volume of a gunshot. Guns are so loud that depending on what I'm shooting sometimes I use earplugs and over the ear at the same time. With active protection you can just crank the volume up all the way so you can still hear people talking just fine.
Question:	anyone compare the sound quality to earasers
Answer:	I'm not familiar with earasers, but having a quick look online, it looks that their attenuation curve is way to low in the lower frequencies. Our attenuation is more in the line of what is called flat attenuation across levels, to ensure the sound reach your ears without distortion.

Answer:	No! To avoid fishegeddon, you should never add more fish than you already have. If you have 0, you can start with 1. By adding 3 at once, you are expecting your bacteria to triple in population immediately, even with safe start you're really risking a spike in ammonia because the bacteria can't keep up...
Question:	They are useful for sleeping
Answer:	Probably depends on your tank size, I think this size will treat between 10 and 75 gallons with the whole bottle. So if your two tanks are less than ~30 gallons I'd say it's safe to split the bottle as equally as you can. That said, I think the more bacteria the better, so if you can afford two bottles why not treat yourself (and your fishies)? :)

Answer:	That's what happened to my old tank and it stayed cycled! I added safestart at water changes or if adding new fish and all was fine
Question:	What is the nrr
Answer:	You have to wait at least 24 hrs after adding conditioner to the water as the conditioner can disrupt the bacteria growth during that time. After that, add tetra safestart then add a small # of fish within about 20 min. Fish produce the ammonia that thebacteria need to live. Do not do any waterchanges for 2 weeks, then you should be cycled. Test tank water, and if you see Ammonia=0, Nitrites=0, Nitrates=5-40, you are cycled.
