Answer:	Hello and thank you for your question on The First Years American Red Cross Nasal Aspirator. This is made in China.
Question:	How many ounces of water does the syringe hold
Answer:	I never tried it, but after the tip, it is gets rather large. For babies, this was the best aspirator by far because it had good suction. I have never had ear wax so, I cannot speak to that.

Answer:	Faulty. Seller should replace with a new one
Question:	How in the world is a person supposed to clean this properly without being able to open it
Answer:	We purchased two -- one in the beginning of 2009 and one in middle/end of 2011 (one for each kid). Both were hard to use, but we found that running it under hot water right before using it really made it soft and then absolutely no problem to use. If we had another kid, I'd definitely get it again.

Answer:	Yes, you could use it for steering wheel fluid, but just set it aside for only that usage. Don't combine fluids. If you're going to use it for other things that would definitely need to be washed out extremely well.

Answer:	I too have had a problem with drippage at the bulb to syringe joint. Although I have not taken any steps to address the problem, I would recommend a product known as Flex Seal which is a rubber-based fluid which has remarkable sealing potential, based on my usage of the product to seal rainwater from travelling beneath cement blocks into my garage floor. The material remains flexible, and should adhere well to both the plastic syringe and rubber ball.
