Answer:	No, the flex spring is removable, and is only there to avoid kinks where the hose connects to the hookah.

Answer:	That's more dependent on the grommet than anything. I've measured the piece that attaches to the hookah itself. At its smallest point, it measures about 2/5 of an inch in diameter. Seeing as how a lot of smaller hookahs have the same size hose connector, I don't see you having any issues. If you want to be extra sure, just measure the diameter of the largest part of the grommet you plan on using and assure that it can tightly secure 2/5 of an inch to 1/2 of an inch. You should be fine.

Answer:	I just checked it out, 5 min showing a number on readout then it turned itself off, I pressed on button and it reset to a new zero. If possible, nudge it slightly to make numbers bounce on the DRO after a few minutes to keep it from turning off. Sorry. Auto shutoff is a PITA. Would be neat if they had a way to turn it off.

Warm Tips to Get an Accurate Testing Result:

1. Before blood collection, wash your hands with warm water or neutral soap and rub the finger for blood collection repeatedly until the blood volume is rich.

2. You could disinfect finger abdomen with 75% alcohol, collect blood after alcohol evaporated.

3. Before each test, make sure that the surface of strip is free from moisture or other contamination, and avoid touching the blood sampling area of the strip.

4. Close the cap of the vial immediately after taking out the strip. It is best to use the strip within 3 minutes of taking it out.

5. After the blood drop is formed, wipe off the first drop, collect the subsequent one to test.

6. Make sure enough blood is collected at one time, don't add blood for a second time.

7. If it didn't bleed after pricking your finger, or the blood is insufficient, it is best to hang your hand naturally and wait for 5 seconds. If necessary, squeeze from the center of the palm to the fingertips. Do not directly squeeze the fingertips. Or adjust the depth of the lancing device to collect blood again.

8. Take turns to collect blood from different fingers. Blood collection on the ventral side of the finger is not only less painful, but also adequate.
