Answer:	Carrier oils are meant to dilute the original oil. It will help the oils go further and keep them from irritating the skin. I have used DoTerra oils for three years and most don't bother my skin at all. However, some of the oils are considered "hot" oils and will burn the skin if not diluted. The Modern Essentials book has a very helpful dilution chart as well as many other resources to help you learn to use the oils.
Question:	Does the cd tell whaat oils to use for what purpose? I have been looking online but can't find that information
Answer:	No really, it's basically an advertisement for doTerra. They do sell a book titled Modern Essentials (you can get it on Amazon) that tells the purposes of oils, specifically theirs which in many cases applies to generic ones also (lavender, orange, etc).

Answer:	you can buy "new" caps that self seal and so they look like they have never been opened. These caps are cheap (26 cents a piece) so it is very easy for a seller to buy a bottle of oil from doTerra, pour out half or more and keep for themselves, and then fill the bottle back up with a carrier oil like coconut oil or grapeseed oil and the buyer would not be able to tell the difference. I'd rather buy wholesale direct from the company and no that no one has tampered with it than save a dollar or two and risk getting diluted oil. Question:	What's the difference between eucalyptus radiata oil and regular eucalyptus oil
Answer:	Regular eucalyptus oil is what w called Both same genus but different species. Globulus (also known as the blue gum tree) is that traditional strong smelling oil. Radiata (also known as narrow leaved peppermint) is a milder scent and different.s Typically used for the same purpose, but Radiata is safe for children. I believe Globulus beats Radiata in a head to head when looking at all the good stuff such as the 1.8 cineol. This is kind of like its medicinal value. Some sites say they have the same, but that is typically not true. Globulus usually is approx 10% higher (but both are close). This is one of the reasons radiata is used on children instead of globulus. Globulus has been in the spotlight for a long time and therefore has been harvested on a much larger scale. What this means is that radiata is typically a more expensive. Globulus ORAC score: 2400 RAdiata ORAC score: may be same. I found one site that had it but i think it was just an error and they put in the globulus score. I prefer globulus, but I also like radiatta. Another big one with super high 1,C Cineol level is Eucalyptus citriodora which also has an ORAC score of over 80,000 I believe. this may be an issue for some with sensitive skin. **Please see my new question about why use Doterra when they are more expensive, they don't have organic products (and no they their self created testing standard is different than organic certifications and it still isn't as extensive in many area). so I am not trying to bash the company. Answer:	YES People don't seem to understand that 100% natural essential oil is 100% natural. Fooled by the FDA to thinking that "for external use only" means that when they are FORCED to say it by the FDA on the label. I'm in my 40's and I've been adding it to my water since I was 7 years old to drink and it's improved my health and maintained it. Those who experience weakness or sickness are either not diluting it enough in water or other liquids, they are allergic, or having the initial herxheimer effect, where parasites release toxins that make you stop you from getting rid of them, which is also what they do when they die. This happens with any antibacterial, antiviral, or antimicrobal that has that effect. It does pass when the body adjusts to it. If you're worried about it or believe the FDA (lol!) then go squeeze a lemon and add it to water (which is fine), but if you are wondering if you can use this internally - newsflash - it is used for making lemon candies too which uhh...you have eaten and taken internally! Think it over. This is a fine product that has worked for me since I switched from Gaia Herbs to this in the 2000's, and I am answering here because I saw the comments and wanted to share while buying a replacement and more for the new year.
