Answer:	Yes. I use it for lumbar more than my neck. I tend to use the "pillow" by itself for this use.

Answer:	I just throw mine in the tub, both mat and foam together along with some liquid body soap and let it wash itself. Then I let it air dry on the side of the tub.

Answer:	Yes, the cover is removable. There are two velco strips at one end. You can take the foam strip out and clean it too if you want. I have had the mat for two years and have never removed the cover.

Answer:	I started with a very thin t-shirt, even at my neck...that seemed to help but not as much as I had wanted...So then after about a week, I tried it on my neck bare skinned and I felt like it worked better. Question:	Do you have to be lying down? Has anyone used it in a recliner or adjustable bed? I can't lie flat easily
Answer:	I use it on a recliner all the time eventhough my preference is to lie on it flat on the floor. Since you aren't lying flat, less weight is put on the "points". You will still feel the them, but not as sharply. However, I always make sure my back is bare, so I do have the most direct contact. I even used it recently in the car while I was a passenger --yes bare-backed. I love this mat and I think it is one of the best purchases I have made.

Answer:	My husband says yes but it would hurt a lot. Laying on it hurts, too, but he is so much better, laying on it 1/2 hour a day is totally worth it for him. The instructions say yes on feet, too, either standing on it or sitting with your feet on it. If you have diabetes or any other disease, you might want to ask your doctor about acupressure first.

Answer:	Yes, this mat helped my lower back pain. I've lain flat on the mat with a regular pillow under my knees/lower thighs to help provide more contact between the mat and my lower back as well as positioning the pillow that comes with the mat underneath my lower back. Remember that the mat takes some getting used to; I did feel some relief the first time I used the mat but it was uncomfortable overall. With more consistent use, though I am getting used to it and feeling more of the beneficial effects.
