Answer:	I’m surprised nobody else has mentioned this product overspraying all over the car. I taped it off, was careful, and still had an issue. A clay bar can help to get it off but I feel like the only way to get it off will be to either wait for it to break down or polish/compound it off which is what i plan on doing. I wouldn’t redo it because it took me a good 30 minutes to remove the coating on each headlight between claying and compounding/polishing.
Question:	Does this product need to be removed from the headlight assembly before reapplying within a year
Answer:	I reapplied after 14 months, the headlights had a lot of dried Lovebug juice, it is hard as a rock, so I had to clean it. Tried a few bug & tar stains removers and they didn't do anything. Then tried Solimo 99% Isopropyl alcohol sold by Amazon and it took it off. I also notice the original coat of the Meguiars Headlight Coating had hazed a tad, which was not apparent till I fully finished the first lens and compared it to the other side which I had not done yet. The alcohol will haze the lens, but that it just because it dilutes the old headlight coating as it takes it off. You need to use a paper towel cut in 4 pieces and wet it and use one side to clean, then turn it over and use the other side and keep doing it till you are sure all the headlight coating and Lovebug juice is off. Then polish the remaining haze with a dry paper towel. At least that is what I di and it worked great and was easy work.

Answer:	No, this will only remove a small amount of plastic depending how had you work it. You would need to use a 3000 grit sanding pad and it would depend on how deep the cracks are. If the penetrate the plastic lens nothing will help.

Answer:	I would be afraid to try it. The results on hard poly plastics are decent, but require lots of work. I’d hesitate to inflict that on your Jeep’s soft top windows.

Question:	How well will this work for my 1997 Avalon? They're pretty dated and oxidized
Answer:	Worked good on my 2000 ford
Question:	Messed up putting on the two step process. How do you correct this
Answer:	Mine "looked" like it was messed up after the first part (the abrasive portion of the process). I thought it wouldn't clean up, so I used toothpaste (mild abrasive). It still didn't look good. But, I finally applied the final polishing solution and voilla! It looked awesome! I suspect although it looked bad, the second part of the process cleaned it up. Maybe, the toothpaste was unnecessary. I heard about negative results with other Toyotas, like my Tacoma, however, my issue was resolved. I hope your issue is resolved as well. If not, I'd try a different brand and re-do it.
Question:	I used this last night without realizing it will rain today. Directions on the spray says to wait 24 hours before exposing to water. Am I in trouble
Answer:	If it looks fine you should be fine. The 24 hour recommendation is very conservative to cover all environments and situations. If it dried for a few hours it may be totally fine.

Answer:	No it is not a stupid question. I got confused too in the beginning. You use the gray (rough) side of the pad. The headlight looks little hazy after the application. But the spray brings the shine back.

Answer:	While this kit did an excellent job of restoring my headlights, it took me about an hour to do each side as I tend to be very meticulous when maintaining my vehicle. I took extra care to ensure the product was applied as designed and that application process achieved excellent results. However, my lenses started losing the clear coat finish after about 12 months. My vehicle is garaged kept 7x24 (with climate control) and only driven about 6,000 miles per year.

Answer:	I found that the 1st two sanding discs loaded up quickly with the plastic and actually marked the lens . I tried an alternate approach for the first 2 discs and used toothpaste generously and a 1 1/2 inch rotary brush on my drill. Toothpaste is a mild abrasive compound . This worked fantastic and I finished up with the 3000 grit disc and the wax. There was no wear on the 3000 grit disc so you could do many many lights using this method. Just have to buy the rotary brush . I had one from a previous Amazon purchase.

Answer:	Too soon for me to tell. The box says 2 years. I did two of my cars but only about 3 months ago. If you go with this product be careful of the overspray and that the clear coating will be sticky for 30 minutes or so even in direct sunlight (which is required for its curing process). Don't let anything come in contact with the headlight while it cures (I found out the hard way!)

Answer:	if you do it manually . it will cost a little longer time , Process takes about 30 minutes.. Suggest yo use it with a cordless drill, make job easier. Answer:	This headlight cleaning product works well with a foam polishing pad on an electric drill to help scrub off the yellow & white oxidation. The polish is quite thin and will splatter, low RPM works well. If your headlights are in poor condition, you may need to use 2000-3000 grit wet sandpaper before polishing because this is a finishing and cleaner polish. *ZFE has an inexpensive drill polishing kit w/pads (less than $10 US) and it works well with Turtle Wax and other plastic polish products.

Answer:	I used this product on a 1998 Subaru Outback headlights and if you follow the instructions, it works quite well. The UV protection is adequate. I did follow up and reapplied after 6 months. The product performed as promised as do all Turtlewax products.

Answer:	I wet sand with 1000 grit and then 3000 grit by hand and then follow by polishing with a 3” pad by drill with polishing compound. Then I use the product for final finish and protection.

Answer:	Hello George. The lens does not have to be sanded, however for best adhesion of the coating to the lens, it should be sanded with the P3000 grit sanding disc that comes with the kit.
