Answer:	Hi, our Traditional Sauce and Tomato and Basil Sauce both contain dehydrated garlic.
Question:	Are there any meat products in this sauce? I don't want pork
Answer:	No meat or dairy products of any kind listed in the jar's ingredients list. I thought they were some of the best jarred sauces I've tasted. For those wanting to cut the sweetness, which I didn't find, add a bit of red wine -- or white will do.
Question:	Is the jar itself glass or plastic
Answer:	I ordered in Feb 2020 and they were glass jars, AND they were packaged so that it was impossible for them to touch each other and break.

Answer:	9g of sugars on the nutrition facts for tomato & basil flavor. Ingredients: Tomato puree (Water, tomato paste), diced tomatoes (tomatoes, citric acid), sugar, etc etc. So since sugar is the 3rd ingredient, that means sugar IS added. It does not indicate what kind of sugar; the front label just claims "all natural." The traditional flavor is only 8g sugar.

Answer:	You can use this product on any recipe that you want to kick it up a notice on the spicy side.
Question:	Why would this have 12 grams of fat
Answer:	Hi, That’s something I didn’t notice! After looking at my remaining seasoning, I can’t see how it could have the fat, sugars or carbs listed. The given recipe using 300 g spaghetti & 20 g seasoning w/olive oil, could have that much of everything. Maybe that’s how they list nutritional info in Italy?
Question:	About how much of this seasoning would you use for a 28 oz can of tomato sauce
Answer:	Start with 1 tsp then taste after a few minutes of simmering. I do 3-4 tsp. Great stuff.
Question:	How much sodium per serving
Answer:	Not sure what a serving size would be - a half teaspoon in a dish is plenty spicy - but no matter how much you use there is no sodium at all in the mix. It is a great mix - I use it frequently - quite a bit of heat.

Answer:	Not spicy, and when cooked down, it had a homemade flavor that was similar to a long cooked sauce.

Answer:	The expiration date is hard to see. It is usually on the top rounded part of the jar. Look closely!

Answer:	My “just purchased” sauce has an expiration date of 8/2019. The date is hard to find/read but is on the top of the jar just below the black lid. Rolling the jar so the sauce is away from the glass will make it easier to see.
Question:	Is it vegan? A.k.a. any animal products
Answer:	I looked at the label and the ingredient list and it says crushed tomatoes, tomatoes, carrot puree, garlic, onion, basil, olive oil, spices, salt and cane sugar. It also says gluten free. Hope this helps!
