  5. Caution: Due to their extreme spiciness, ghost chili hot sauces should be used with caution. It's advisable to start with a small amount and gradually increase as per your tolerance. Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling ghost peppers or sauces made from them, and avoid touching your face or eyes.

  6. Varieties: There are numerous brands and varieties of ghost chili hot sauces available on the market, each with its unique blend of ingredients and heat levels. Some may include other chili varieties, fruits, garlic, and spices to enhance flavor complexity.

In summary, ghost chili hot sauces are known for their intense heat, complex flavor, and versatility in spicing up a wide range of dishes. They are a favorite among those who enjoy the thrill of extremely spicy foods and can be a great addition to your pantry for adding heat and flavor to your favorite recipes.

User questions & answers

Question: Is it a thicker hot sauce or is it runny
Answer: Thicker, until it starts to spoil. Then it gets runny and it's time to throw it away.
Question: How can there be 4g of sugar listed, but only showing 1g of carbs
Answer: Great question! My bottle says 1g sugar and 1g carbs which makes much more sense. It also shows 20mg sodium instead of the zero the Amazon picture has.
Question: How many scoville units
Answer: It's not 500k. It is indeed 100k Scoville 7nits Too many sauce websites don't know what they're talking about. They provide the Scoville of the peppers used, not the sauce itself. I don't know how these people operate successful websites. I mean seriously. Do your research on scoville units per sauce and cross reference your findings. You'll soon realize the vast amounts of crap info on those sites for heat ratings. Most are just selling it anyway.
Question: How many are in this package? There can't be 1 for
Answer: Just the one, but once you try it you'll understand why. I've tried more hot sauces than I'm willing to admit and I've yet to find something in the same scoville range that isn't gimmicky and unenjoyable. The flavor is focal point, not the heat. Other sauces in this range may lead you to believe this one isn't all that hot, but your b*tthole will ultimately prove them all wrong. 10/10 would recommend, even at this price.

Adoboloco Hamajang Hot Sauce

Hamajang in Pidgin English means “messed up”. The sauce is Kiawe (K-AH-VEE – relative to Mesquite) smoked Ghost Pepper and Habanero. So you’re asking what’s messed up about it? It’s not the sauce that’s messed up but it could mess you up if you decide to eat too much of it at once. It’s VERY HOT, you’ll be able to enjoy the flavors and some really, really good heat. We suggest you take it slow because Ghost Pepper heat builds over 20-30 minutes and will catch some people off guard.

Hamajang is exceptional for a spicy Poke Bowl, on hearty meals, grilled/bbq meats, EGGS, vegetables, beef or lengua tacos and burritos and pretty much anything else you want to add serious flavor and kick to.

Enjoy responsibly! Warning! To the inexperienced this sauce is very hot! Use with caution! Keep out of the reach of children.

It’s like a hot candy in a bottle with no sugar added. It has a slightly sweet flavor with a hint of watermelon like flavors. Put it on just about anything. We love it on eggs, mac salad, grilled chicken, fried rice, noodles like Pancit, Saimin, Ramen, Chow Fun and it even works great to spice up your spaghetti.

Enjoy responsibly! Warning! To the inexperienced this sauce is very hot! Use with caution! Keep out of the reach of children.

Adoboloco KoloheKid Hot Sauce

KOLOHE (CO-LOW-HEY) What all my local aunties used to call me when I was growing up. It’s a Hawaiian word that means naughty; mischievous or rascal. Yes I was all of the above…. Sorry Mom and Dad ;) Now you get the idea behind the name? This sauce could get you in trouble if you hangout with it for too long.

KoloheKid – KoloheKid is made with Ghost Peppers and cut with Hawaiian Chili Peppers. The heat is there but it’s a slightly tamer version with layers of depth and flavor.

Adoboloco Hawaiian Chili Pepper Water Hot Sauce

Breakfast, lunch, pupu’s (appetizers/snacks) or dinner, Adoboloco Hawaiian Chili Pepper is the everyday classic hot sauce for the occasion. Perfect balance of heat and flavor to keep a bottle on your table at all times.

Adoboloco Hawaiian Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce

This is the best Pineapple hot sauce you’ve ever had, with smooth Habanero heat. The sweet tang of the fresh sun ripened Hawaiian pineapple works well with everything from smoked pulled pork sliders, simple tuna salad sandwich, to a 5 star meal of fresh grilled fish or pizza night. Harvested fresh, farm to bottle in two days. This sauce is dangerously addictive.

Adoboloco Jalapeno Hot Sauce

Adoboloco Jalapeño Sauce we consider to be a flavor enhancer (umami). It can be used when sauteing, as a salad dressing, dip, condiment and so much more.

Adoboloco Pau Hana Hawaiian Barbecue Sauce

We only use the best ingredients: NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP or CORN SYRUP, NON GMO SOY BEANS and WHEAT FREE. With Korean influences this sauce can be used straight out of the bottle or used to marinate for your next BBQ.

Ingredients: Tamari (Water, Soybeans, Salt, Sugar, Alcohol, Vinegar, Lactic Acid), Pear Juice Concentrate, Brown Sugar, Sherry, Water, Sesame Seeds, Garlic, Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger, Sesame Oil, Onion, Citric Acid, Chili Pepper, Chili Pepper Dried, Sea Salt – CONTAINS: SOY

1 Million Scoville Pepper Extract Hot Sauce, 4oz

Ashley Food Company

Based on 916 reviews Check latest price
  • Guaranteed to be 1,000,000 Scoville Units
  • Certified by HPLC A.O.A.C.
  • Add it by the drop to any recipe or for kicking up the heat of your Buffalo Wings
  • It will also keep animals from nibbling your favorite garden plants and shrubs
  • 4 oz bottle

User questions & answers

Question: what is the concentration? Does it take all 4 oz to equal 1 million Scoville units or is it 1 million per ml, etc
Answer: Scovilles are already a measure of how spicy the sauce is, which is specifically a concentration of capsaicinoids, not a quantity. So your question doesn't make much sense - 1 ml of the sauce is 1 million scovilles, and also 4 oz of the sauce is 1 million scovilles. If you add 1 ml of the sauce to 99 mL of something otherwise non-spicy, the result will be 10,000 scovilles. If you add 1 oz of the sauce to 9 oz of something otherwise non-spicy, the resulting food will be 100,000 scovilles.
Question: Is this in an oil, vinegar or alcohol base? I want to put it on my bird seed and the Cole's Flaming Squirrel sauce isn't hot enough
Answer: The capsecum chemical is dissolved in oil. It is insoluble in water. The claim to 1,000,000 units is misleading. As soon as it is mixed with anything, heat declines dramatically. How much depends on how much it is diluted. Powders on the other hand remain particles mostly, and behave differently. In my opinion, powders or chopped are vastly superior.
Question: Does this come with a dropper
Answer: No. That is a problem because when it is full and you pour it some WILL run down the bottle. Wipe that off immediately! If even a microgram of extract stays on the side of the bottle then you will get some on your fingers every time you touch the bottle to move it Just those few molecules WILL cause problems later if you ever rub your eyes or use the restroom. I know from experience.
Question: What are the ingredients
Answer: One part Devil's tears, two parts Devil's blood and 3 parts Hitler sweat. Yeah, this stuff is hot enough to be poison!!! Good luck.

What it Takes to Make an Extract

While hot sauce can range from mild to earth-shattering hot, a pepper extract hits an entirely new level when it comes to scorching heat. After all, it’s the stuff that military and police-grade pepper sprays are made of; so this stuff is off the scale hot! For this reason, you can’t exactly top off your meal with an extract. Instead, it’s used mainly as a food additive during cooking. Even if you go this route, though, you have to use that pepper extract in a small dose, for a little goes a long way.

Pepper extracts are exceptionally hot because they’re made up of either pure dried chili peppers or a blend of dried peppers and essential oils. Pure capsaicin comes in at 15 million on the Scoville scale, meaning extracts can hit a range that doesn’t even compare to your average bottle of hot sauce. Basically, you get the extract by submerging dried peppers, either dried by you or already dried, in alcohol, drawing out the pepper’s oil. You can use any type of hot pepper you want, but a hotter pepper results in more capsaicin, meaning you don’t have to use as many peppers. A milder pepper takes a lot more peppers to achieve the desired amount.

Of course, this is just a simple way of explaining the process, as it’s actually not advised you do the extraction yourself unless you really know what you’re doing. You definitely don’t want to touch the product with your bare hands, risk getting anything in your eyes, nor do you want to deal with the fumes. That’s because pure capsaicin is not only highly irritating but it can also be dangerous. Luckily, it’s easy to find an array of sizzling pepper extracts already on the market. Just remember, we warned you they’re extremely hot!

Cooking with hot sauce and extracts

If you think hot sauce is just an ordinary condiment to top off food, think again! Sure hot sauce makes a great topping, but it can also add some great flavor while you’re cooking. In fact, adding some hot sauce or hot pepper extracts into the mix while cooking can be a great way to infuse flavor into just about any food. If you’re not too sure about how to do it, we have some great ideas to take you from snacking to dinnertime.

When it comes to appetizers, try mixing some hot sauce into ordinary dips. Traditionally bland cream cheese or mayo always tastes better when you add in some heat. You can also try mixing in hot sauce to stuffed peppers, mushrooms or eggplant, or simply adding it into the mix when you’re making meatballs or burgers. Of course, chili is pretty great too when you stir in some extra spice. From fiery egg rolls to casseroles, just about anything on the menu tastes better when you take it up a notch in flavor. Just remember that when it comes to some of the hottest hot sauce on the planet, a little usually goes a long way. You may want to start small, and then add in more and more hot sauce to increase the flavor gradually.

Another option is to use a pepper extract. Keep in mind, though, extracts can be insanely hot! Only use the extract as an additive, and only use it in small doses. It works well in things like a stir-fry, plus soups and chili. There’s really no limit when it comes to infusing hot sauce and hot pepper extracts into mealtime. Whether you try some of our great recipes or create your own, just be creative and enjoy!

User questions & answers

Question: Which sauce has a great taste but not to hot
Answer: Highly reccomend Tabanero Extra Hot (believe me, it's not that hot) and the Elijah's Xtreme Hot Sauces (all 3 are fantastic but the regret is around 800k scoville)
Question: Will this hot sauce give me convulsions
Answer: In theory, if you drink it on an empty stomach and keep vomiting (or hemorrhaging) long enough to go into shock, then you could experience convulsions. While I am aware of nothing in the medical literature that specifically addresses your question, I do have the personal experience of becoming mildly nauseated after swallowing a quarter-sized drop of the hot sauce about three hours after a meal.
Question: Which flavor is best
Answer: I was not a fan of "Dave's Insanity Sauce" due to the flavor. Dave's "Ghost Pepper Naga Jolokia" has a strong Habanero flavor that makes getting used to the heat (if you're not already) well worth it.
Question: How many ounces does this bottle contain
Answer: Another "Like" for the first answer. Huge bang for the buck in this bottle. It will remain in your fridge for a while. For those folks who are experimenting with hotter sauces, it may as well be a gallon rather than 5 ounces. It will likely last through another presidential election cycle.

Question: I'm looking for a sauce that would replace pepper palace's ghostly garlic hot sauce... does anyone know if this sauce would fit the bill
Answer: This sauce has been one of my absolute favorites of MANY ghost, scorpion, and reaper sauces I've bought over the years.... but it is certainly not a garlic-potent hot sauce. Very little garlic flavor. I would still give this a try though if you're a chili head and like stuff with good flavor.

Answer: I just posted the nutrition label so you can read it and the ingredients. Also Elijah's story... Thanks!
Question: I like flavor of El Yucateco Haberno, but want something hotter with similar flavor, how is the actual flavor
Answer: I think you'll be delighted with the flavor of the Red Savina Habanero blended with the sweet smoky flavor of the ghost pepper... the delicious tastes of the roasted garlic, onion, tomatoes, carrot, lime and passion fruit make for a one of a kind award winning ghost pepper sauce that packs enough heat to let you know it's HOT, while balancing the great flavor! Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Sauce

About a decade ago, the ghost pepper was recognized as the hottest on the planet. That’s a big deal for a chili pepper; it’s like winning an Oscar. When the ghost chili pepper reigned as the world’s hottest (between 2007 and 2011, according to the folks at Guinness World Records), no one thought there would be a pepper to take its place. After all, 1,041,427 Scovilles is a crazy amount of heat. Even serious chili heads (and even casual fans) must concede that. Regular hot sauce lovers will begin to notice how hot a sauce or chili pepper is around 40,000 Scovilles. And then there’s our Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce. It’s got a respectable 150,000 SHU rating. You can totally enjoy this without freaking the F out, which is what happens when you eat a ghost pepper straight up.

Poker Face Pressed Bacon Cubanos

Need a late-night fix after hours of cards and gin? Want something that’ll totally perk up the party so you can get back to winning all those chips from your friends? Whip up a few of these decadent Cuban sandwiches before the party gets going – just hold off on the final cooking step until everyone’s starving. You’ll be a hero – winner or not.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce, 2 tablespoons Mustard, 1 teaspoon Olive oil

1 clove Garlic, minced

4 each Hawaiian rolls, sliced open

8 slices Swiss cheese, divided

4 slices bacon, cooked and halved

12 slices Dill pickle

2 teaspoons fresh cilantro, minced

6 ounces Sliced deli ham

2 ounces Sliced deli turkey breast

Preparation

Combine the Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce with the mustard in a small bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine the oil and garlic and set aside. Spread the inside of the rolls with the Mad Dog mustard mix and add a slice of cheese to the bottom half of each roll. Divide the bacon halves, pickles, cilantro, ham, and turkey. Top with the remaining cheese slices. Close sandwiches and brush the garlic oil over the entire exterior of each.

Use a sandwich press to cook the sandwiches. Or, heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the sandwiches for about 3 minutes on each side using another, heavy skillet to flatten the sandwiches as they cook.

Naga Lasagna

You can, in fact, enjoy all the flavor of lasagna without a headache-level of work going into it. Better still, when you make it yourself, you can add in the heat you truly crave. Here, we’ve added helping of Naga Morich that’ll take your breath away. And, you’re going to love it.

Serves: 6-8 You’ll need: 4 tbs butter ¼ cup all-purpose flour 2½ cups milk 1 lb each: pre-cooked lasagna noodles, lean ground beef 1 teaspoon Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce 28 oz marinara sauce ¾ lb each: cheddar and mozzarella cheeses salt and pepper, to taste oven preheated to 350°F greased 13×9” pan

Preparation

Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 2 minutes. Slowly pour in the milk and continue whisking until smooth and then continue cooking for another 5 to 7 minutes until thick. Whisk, as needed, to ensure the bechamel sauce doesn’t burn. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Heat a second large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook, stirring to break up any chunks until just browned. Add the Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce and the marinara sauce. Cook, stirring, until evenly mixed, then remove from the heat.

Assemble the lasagna in the prepared pan, starting with a layer of the bechamel sauce, then sheets of the lasagna noodles, topped with a layer of the Mad Dog meat sauce, and cheeses. Continue layering until you’ve used all of the ingredients ending with a layer of cheeses.

Cover with foil and place in the oven. Cook for 45 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the lasagna stand for 10 minutes before serving hot.

Chicken Waffles and Mad Dog Nachos

Ready to celebrate National Fried Chicken Day in style? You’ll need some chicken, some bacon, some cheese – and plenty of Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce to transform an ordinary chicken and waffles dish into a feast for 8 that will be devoured as quickly as you can get it on the table. Okay, there are a few more ingredients, but not that many – and since it’s really the Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce mixed with the honey that makes this dish sensational, you can almost skip everything else. Plus, you can pull this together in less than 30 minutes, and serve it all on one platter to cut down on the dishes if that’s your desire. The point is that you want this now and you’re probably not going to wait until National Fried Chicken Day on July 6th to enjoy it. We certainly won’t.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the Scoville number on this sauce
Answer: I don't know that this sauce is rated, specifically. The ingredients list scorpion peppers and vinegar. That does not specify whether the moruga or the butch varietal, which rate at around 2,000,000 and 1,500,000 SU respectively. It is as picante and almost as flavorful as fresh scorpion peppers I have grown. It is a drop by drop additive to food and not to be messed with by those without significant tolerance. What I like about it as compared to fresh or frozen scorpions is its stability and ease of use.
Question: are these the standard 5 oz. bottles
Answer: Yes
