Answer:	Put it in the frig. It last a long time. I've had it in there for months and months until it was gone. It's ok. It never went bad. Enjoy.

Question:	Does this contain any nitrates
Answer:	I don't see that it says "Real Wasabi." You are right though that it should be called "Wasabi flavored horseradish and mustard powder." This stuff is 50 to 75% less expensive than the real wasabi powder and even the real wasabi powders are made with a blend of wasabi root and horseradish and mustard. I may pony up for the real deal next time and see if it is worth the extra bucks. In the mean time, this "fake" wasabi works fine for my needs. It gets my eyes watering and my nose running a plenty.
Question:	do you have to refrigerate after opening
Answer:	It is not mixed with horseradish or mustard. It claims to be 100% real wasabi. I suspect this is kind of like selling carrot tops as 100% carrot. Technically true, but not what I am looking for when I need carrots. I don't really know what wasabi is or if there are different grades, but this was pretty bland. For all I know ordering wasabi may be like asking for a pepper and getting anything from a bell pepper to a habanero.

Answer:	It is spicy, but not overload. This is the best dry wasabi I have found. It might be great mixed in some melted butter over popcorn. :)

Answer:	The ingredients from the back of bag says "Horseradish, Mustard, Citric Acid, Vitamin C, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Blue #1", and it's only a small fraction of the price of real Wasabi (wasabia japonica), so I don't think it's actually Wasabi... Tastes great, though.

Answer:	I have not mixed it in soy sauce but I should tell you that for some reason it hardened in the bag and lost it,s punch. So I threw it out.

Answer:	The ingredients, as listed on the can: HORSERADISH, MUSTARD, TAPIOCA STARCH, WASABI. I’ve tried a number of different “Wasabi” powders, most of which are a similar blend of horseradish and mustard. The very few I’ve found that claim to be pure wasabi have actually been fairly wretched. Pity the real root is upwards of $400/lb, *if* you can even find it. For my taste, S&B is the best of the blends, particularly when mixed with their hot mustard powder and using half water and half vodka to reconstitute. Give it several minutes to bloom. Be careful, or serious suffering will ensue. And then you’ll want more. Good stuff.
