Answer: No. It is oil from Spain, but if you like the typical fruity and stronger taste of Spanish olive oil over the milder Italians, you will be disappointed. Costco's Italian Organic Virgin Olive Oil (Kirkland brand) tastes much better than this and it is Italian.

Answer: 350 to 410 F. There was/is a school of thought that harmful toxins were released at high temps. Debunked. I add grapeseed oil to xv olive oil to raise smoke point if I am pan frying. EV Olive Oil gets a bitter aroma and taste when close to smoke point. I have been a Monini EVOO Originale for over 25 years, it is the only EVOO I purchase. Although no samples fully solidified, a sample of EVOO mixed with up to 50 percent lesser grade olive oil congealed in the bottles, meaning it could be interpreted as passing the refrigerator test even though it was not pure EVOO. The study concluded that the Fridge Test is not reliable for determining oil purity or quality." Answer: The bottle clearly states that the oil is EXPRESSED in MOROCCO but only states about the OLIVES that they are from the ATLAS FARMS. Could the SELLER please confirm if these farms and growing olives are in Morocco?
Question: Can you buy them separately
Answer: We don't test or officially count the polyphenols because we don't sell the oil as a medicinal oil even though I think it would be a great idea. Our chemist says the polyphenols are at about at 400-600 mg/kg at harvest. Keep in mind Polyphenols are mostly responsible for the bitter and pungent tastes in Olive Oil and are at their highest levels when the fruit is not fully ripe. The special characteristic of the Kolovi olive variety is that it can be harvested early without having a high bitterness. It does maintain a high pungency which is the peppery aftertaste. A characteristic quality of extra virgin olive oil made from Kolovi olives is its subtle and delicate flavor, fruity aroma and smooth texture, in spite of its high antioxidant/polyphenol content. Therefore this extra virgin olive oil is an excellent choice for consumers interested in the full taste and health benefits of olive oil, yet dislike the very strong flavors and bitterness commonly found in many oils made from other olive varieties. Answer: Hi, I'm George, I represent the producer HAE her in the US. Thank you for your interest in our Organic Extra Virgin Olive. The expiration date for this lot is August 8, 2020. Harvest was during the November-December 2018 period and bottled Feb 8, 2019. We stamp a 'best before' date 18 months out as of bottling date. Keep in mind the olive tree is harvested once a year during late fall, and the olives are pressed within hours then they're immediately stored in a temperature controlled storage tanks that are sealed from all oxygen. The Olive Oil is then bottled as needed, to fill orders, in order to minimize it's handling and exposure to air and light. I highly recommend that once the bottle is opened don't hesitate to consume the oil within a month. Also, remember to keep the bottles in a cool dark pantry. Everything is done in order to preserve the freshness of the fresh pressed Olive Oil. Along with the flavors and aromas, all the nutrients and antioxidants are at their peak at pressing so a lot of energy and focus is emphasized at these stages. Once you break the seal on the bottle, the herbaceous, grassy aromas tempt your nose, like a garden in a bottle. Taste it, and it's as complex as fine wine. So yes, this olive oil is made from Kolovi Olives that are harvested early before they are ripe. The Kolovi Olive's special characteristic is that it can be picked early when antioxidant levels are at their highest and 'without the high bitterness that is associated with early harvest olive oils'.
