So if you want 8oz instead of 4 you'd use half (2 ounces) and get 25 drinks. |

Answer: | Amazon shows I've ordered this 29 times over the years. Only in the past 9 months have they started sending me the wrong product. Unfortunately, it has the same UPC as the product I order. What I want and used to receive has "Sweet ground chocolate" as the first ingredient, but starting this year, I've been received a similar, but not nearly as good, product that lists sugar as the first ingredient. The label is different (white writing, for one thing) but the UPC code is now the same. You can look at the 2 products yourself. Amazon sells one for $19 or so and the other for $23 or so but in the last 8 months what I have received is the white lettering product with sugar as the first ingredient. This despite the fact it isn't what I ordered. I have talked to numerous Amazon reps about this and the last one figured out the same UPC issue but it is infuriating that they continue to show the wrong product on their website and people like me, who look at the image of the ingredients, think they are ordering what they've always ordered, but that's not what they get. Don't buy this unless you want something that is more sugar than chocolate. And, Amazon, if you read this, how about fixing your false advertising. Hmm, that gives me an idea. Answer: | I have not done a comparison. I can say that Ghardelli cocoa is of the highest quality. I use it to make no-fat hot chocolate with a minimum amount of sugar. It is always delicious and can be sweetened to taste. (I have not tried to use it unsweetened.) I use it to make "Ghardelli Grand Fudge Cake". This is a tradition for our family, served once a year to commemorate everyone's birthday. The name seems to have been changed to "Classic Fudge Cake"; not an improvement in my opinion. |
