Answer:	The additional cost associated with us is we have to drive to pick it up, store it, hire people to pack it, Pay to get it shipped to you, pay amazon a fee to sale it, cover any damaged product and absorb the cost of any product returned which by the way can not be sold or donated since it has left a secure food environment. I suggest you contact a food distributor in your area to sell it in one of their stores. The only reason we sell it is that we are in NC where it is made and our distributor cannot even get the retail packages. We have to go to the grocery store to buy the product to ship it to you.

Answer:	I use a product, brand name, SACO, cultured Buttermilk Blend, which is equivalent to 3.75 qts liquid buttermilk. With this dry ingredient, I just add water equivalent to directions on bag of Southern Biscuit (1 1/4 cups buttermilk). Works for me. Biscuits come out just as delicious as when I use buttermilk.

Answer:	There is one bag, but there is enough to make many batches of biquits, 2 cups are needed for each batch. You can find it at Wal-Mart for about 3-4 $$. I would check there 1st. It'll be in the bottom rack, so easy to miss.
