Answer: The official Hollander guidance recommends that the product be used within a month after opening. That is based on worst case storage conditions – high heat, high humidity, etc. The product will actually last much longer under normal conditions. Answer: Hollander caramel sauce can theoretically be frozen, but we don’t really recommend it. Doing this could cause the bottle to crack and / or the sugars to crystalize out of the caramel. Fortunately, an opened bottle should last MUCH longer than 3 weeks under normal conditions. It should easily last two or three months if handled properly. The key to extending the shelf life is keeping water (or high humidity) out of the bottle. For example, do not rinse the pump out with water and then put it back in the bottle. The little bit of residual water stuck inside the pump will promote the growth of yeast and mold…not good! Another option would be to purchase our squeeze bottles. Answer: Powdered milk is to use in emergencies or if you like a crappy products. It is dehydrated real cooked milk so it taste like boiled milk without boiling. You can buy it in many places that sell groceries and online wherever you look. Is it healthy? I think it is not a poison but I doubt you get a ton of nutrients from it. Also if you only have an access to normal milk then always go with it. BTW.. normal milk freezes just fine so some people just freez flat a cup of milk in a little Ziploc and then u se as needed.

Answer: FreshPaper extends the life of the bread whenever it is added- day or two old is fine. But I have returned to freezing my crusty loaves and giving slices a quick turn in the toaster oven to maintain crust and flavor.

Answer: According to the package, they are best with some air flow, and not intended for use in a completely airtight container. I put the sheets everywhere I keep baked things - in a bag with my bagels, in muffin containers. I've never tried them in a freezer. You can cut the sheets into smaller pieces - it's probably worth experimenting. It won't hurt! :)

Answer: yes, I can keep bread for up to 2 1/2 weeks with this paper without it changing the consistency of it . Stays as fresh as you bought it . Use a whole sheet for a whole loaf. Curious to see how it does with homemade bread. I have purchased this three times.
