Question:	Is the tuna cooked like regular cans if tuna or is it raw
Answer:	It is fully cooked. You can eat it right out of the can. Safe Catch is cooked differently than conventional tuna however: Conventional twice cooked tuna is made by putting the fish in large pre-cookers on open racks, machine processing it, rehydrating the precooked tuna in the can and cooking it again. As a result, conventional tuna lose many vital Omega 3 oils as the fish precook on racks and the oils drain away. The machine processing also impairs natural flavor and texture. At Safe Catch we do it differently. We hand cut and hand pack solid wild tuna steaks to seal in all the natural oils and nutrients and slow cook each one just once for an amazing taste. Do not drain Safe Catch tuna. There are no additives and fillers. Empty it into a bowl, chop up the steak and mix it. Answer:	I would not touch this with a 10mft. pole because of where it is processed. Thailand and most other countries have much lower standards for quality and sanitation than the US and virtually NO oversight. No matter how "sustainably" caught the seafood product is, if the company sends it to Asia/Eurasia/South America for processing, the quality of product you are buying is suspect. Don't buy it.

If a product does not specifically state the country of origin, you can assume it has been produced in the United States or a U.S. territory.Still the most densely packed tuna I have ever seen/consumed.The only tuna I have ever seen that is sodium free (no added sodium at all).100% line caught in the South Pacific and certified by MSC(Marine Seafood Council) to be traceable back to the ship/vessel that caught it.

Jalapeno Tuna Tacos

Ingredients: 2 pouches (3 oz.) Blue Harbor Fish Co. Albacore Tuna with Jalapeños, 1 cup veggie slaw, ¼ cup black beans (rinsed and drained), 1 Tbsp. diced red onion, 4 flour and corn tortillas, ¼ cup crumbled Cojita cheese, 1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro, Avocado Crema, ½ avocado, mashed, ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 - 2 Tbsp. lime juice

Preparation: In a small bowl mix veggie slaw, black beans and onion together. Set aside. Heat a grill pan over medium high heat and brush with vegetable oil. Place tortillas on hot grill and cook for 1-2 minutes, until slightly crisp and browned. Flip and repeat on second side. Place tortillas flat on a platter or in a taco stand. Fill with ¼ cup of the slaw mix. Top each with ½ pouch of tuna and sprinkle with cheese and cilantro. Drizzle with avocado crema if desired.

Ingredients: 1 can (5 oz.) Blue Harbor Fish Co. Jumbo Lump Pink Salmon, 2 whole grain croissants, ¼ cup cream cheese, ½ cup microgreens, washed and dried, 10 – 12 sliced cucumbers (thinly sliced), Fresh dillweed

Preparation: Slice each croissant in half, lengthwise. Spread bottom of each croissant with 2 Tbsp. cream cheese. Top with ¼ cup microgreens. Place ½ can of salmon pieces on top of the microgreens and lay cucumber slices across the top. Sprinkle with fresh dill and place on top of croissant.

Lemon Dill Tuna Pasta Salad

Ingredients: 2, 3 oz. pouches Blue Harbor Fish Co. Albacore Tuna with Lemon Dill, ¼ lb. Rotini pasta, 1 – ¼ lbs. green beans, trimmed and cut into 1 – ½ inch pieces, ½ cup sliced red onion, ½ cup garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained, ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Preparation: Cook pasta according to package directions. Add green beans during the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain in colander and cool. Place pasta and green beans in a bowl. Add onion, beans and tuna. Toss with olive oil and chill until ready to serve.

Tuna and White Bean Salad

2 cans Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna, undrained - 1 can (15oz) great northern beans, small white beans or cannellini beans - 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley - juice of 1 lemon, freshly squeezed - salt and pepper to taste - add olive oil for drizzling

Answer:	There's no way to know until you get it. You can expect/demand it be fresh and not nearing its "best by" date but there's no one in the warehouse picking tuna packets off the shelf reading your question. Answer:	The cans say "net weight 7 ounces, dry weight 5.1 ounces." I'm not sure but I think that means they have the weight that tuna cans all used to have before the companies started making them smaller.

Answer:	I don't really know since I always use the entire jar when I open it. (I use it to make a delicious tuna pasta dish for dinner.) But I would think that it would last no longer than a regular can of tuna which has been opened. Probably 3 4 days to be on the safe side.
