What I would do to get a cup of mushrooms would be to fill up a cup halfway up with water or stock and then add mushrooms until the liquid reaches the top of the cup. I would then transfer it to a pot and add some more liquid and simmer away. This should do the trick. I use a variety of dried mushrooms often, especially to make sauces. |

The flavor is sweet, but not the neon flavor of American sugar cereal. I'm not sure I could make out a distinctly identifiable flavor for each...fruity overall. Hope that helps. |
