Answer:	To the answer above, the lid doesnt create the clear ice necessarily. You can still get clear ice from a lidless tray. You would need to cut small holes in the bottom of the tray and put the tray into a larger bowl with room below it. Impurities move downward in freezing uncovered ice, this would leave the top layers crystal clear and the bottom layers filled with the foggy looking ice. Then just chip away your cubes. More work then its worth

Answer:	It says they are, but I just rinse them off and throw them back in the freezer.

Answer:	I use my ice cubes exclusively in drinks around the home. I have a large insulated thermos for water. It works great to add some cooling there. also works great for mixed drinks and sodas. Using them in a lunch box may be problematic. If the lunch box is for a mature person, then it would be fine, but if you were to place them in a student lunch box, they are pretty likely to be lost over time.

Answer:	Depends what you use them in. If it is a beverage that is already cold, they stay frozen for quite a while. I put them into a glass of warm lemonade and they didn't stay frozen for more than one glass.

Answer:	Thanks for your question! Melt velocity will depend on the initial temperature of your drink and also the volume of it. We recommend using 4 or 5 Ice Cubes for a regular size drink (9oz. - 12oz.) at room temperature, but you can always use more Ice Cubes if you prefer. Question:	How do you get rid of the white residue after they've gone through the dishwasher
Answer:	I don’t put in the dishwasher... hand wash
Question:	I just got mine, the square ones are easy to deal with but how do you get perfect spheres? It turned out to be a full sheet in the mold
Answer:	You have to push the top down until you feel the top and bottom "mesh" together. Then fill up each sphere. When you pick it up to put it in the freezer you have to do this carefully as to not break the mesh. I am not a fan of this setup, it is not easy to use.
Question:	What sizes are the ice cubes and ice sphere
Answer:	It makes 2 inch ice cube and 1.8 inch ice sphere.
Question:	What is the easiest way to fill the sphere "cubes"? I always wind up with a mess
Answer:	Firstly, put the sphere "cubes" on a firmly plate or something smooth. Secondly, put the top part and bottom part together, make sure they are touch tightly. After that, just have a slow stream of water fill each cavity from the little hole on the top, and make sure you fill each cavity completely, don't worry much about overflow. A little bit will be fine and will just break out after you get it out of the freezer for the first time.

Answer:	Ice cubes can be made 36 pieces at a time on top of the blue in the middle. It is recommended to take them out before making the next batch. If they are placed under the blue ones, it is easy to freeze and cannot be taken out. It is recommended not to do this

Answer:	if you're trying to make jello shots in the rounds, you might need to freeze them solid, then to get the jello out of the mold, dip it in hot water for a couple seconds. That's how my mom used to unmold Jello in the 1970s.

Answer:	The square is 2 x 2 and the round is a little less in volume.

Answer:	I have a method, but it is why I am also looking for a new product. I fill up the base with water as the instructions state, then I put a DVD case over the top (to keep pressure on it as it tends to simply float up if you don't) and then place a old Harry Potter box on top of that DVD case to add weight. Throw that in the freezer, and 24 hours later I took the book and DVD case. It's a mess and a poor design. The top should lock down like their newer product does (B07GXB7BYB).

Answer:	Just wanted to let you guys know that the flakes you are finding are not from the ice tray but from your water and they are totally harmless. "These flakes are caused by calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, both of which are found in hard water and appear as white flakes when the water is frozen or boiled. ... If they really drive you crazy using bottled water instead of tap or even filtered should do the trick.

Answer:	As long as an ice cube would in your preferred cup. Example: if you’re using a red solo cup, not very long, but if you put them in a Yeti tumbler. It also depends on the temperature of your beverage. I like them because they don’t water down my drink. Hope this helped.
