Answer:	I just purchased a box that was delivered a couple of weeks ago and it has a date on each package of 2 cookies of September 03, 2019. I am not sure when they were manufactured but I bet that they put a 6 month expiration date on these cookies. I bet that they will last much longer than the published date because each package that contains 2 cookies are heat sealed foil mylar packages.

However I bet that they will last much longer than the best by date because unlike the older Fig Newtons that were packaged in clear cellophane and then clear plastic the new packaging is a foil packet, I do not know for certain but they are probably they same Mylar with foil that is used by long term food storage like Mountain House freeze dried food. When I get home I will check the box and if it is much different I will come back and edit this info.
