Ingredients: ¾ c Nutiva Coconut Oil; ¾ c White Sugar; 1 Tbs Numi Ceremonial Citrus Matcha Powder; 2 Numi Gunpowder Green Tea Bags; 8 drops Lemon essential oil

• Using a hand or stand mixer, combine white sugar and solid coconut oil together and essence oil on low speed until smooth, light and fluffy.

Answer:	I am not entirely certain how to answer this question, as it was posed. This tea is NOT de-caffeinated, which you can taste immediately upon brewing. The process of decaffeinating tea, like coffee, is done by soaking the product in a lye solution for 90 days in abandoned petroleum storage tanks just outside Paris, France. (This is the ONLY facility for decaffeinating tea and coffee in the world, hence the higher prices!)This tea is NOT decaffeinated, and tastes GREAT!!!
Question:	Are tea bags individually wrapped
Answer:	My experience is that Numi packages the highest quality teas and blends. If you like the flavor profile of the tea, you will probably like it iced. I usually use the Golden Chai (without dairy) for a great spicy iced tea. I've also iced a couple of their green teas.

Answer:	Yes, they are. I usually use Bigelow's series of Steep teas because they are organic rather than rated just herbal. I have not used this specific tea for some time since my largest single problem is a kind of PTSD and sleep deprivation. I use a similar but stronger and more effective tea made by the Gaia Herbs company called "Sleep and Relax" that has a comforting blend of Lemon Balm and Passionflower. I hope this helps! I only mention the option because I spent so long myself testing and trying various teas and that can be costly.

How to Cold Brew Iced Tea

Cold-brewing is an easy way to make never-bitter iced tea with bright flavors. Simply steep 4 tea bags in 3 cups cold water for 8-10 hours in the fridge. Question:	is this a fully caffeinated tea
Answer:	I am not entirely certain how to answer this question, as it was posed. This tea is NOT de-caffeinated, which you can taste immediately upon brewing. The process of decaffeinating tea, like coffee, is done by soaking the product in a lye solution for 90 days in abandoned petroleum storage tanks just outside Paris, France. (This is the ONLY facility for decaffeinating tea and coffee in the world, hence the higher prices!)This tea is NOT decaffeinated, and tastes GREAT!!!
Question:	would this tea work well for iced tea
Answer:	My experience is that Numi packages the highest quality teas and blends. If you like the flavor profile of the tea, you will probably like it iced. I usually use the Golden Chai (without dairy) for a great spicy iced tea. I've also iced a couple of their green teas.
Question:	Where is it made
Answer:	The product description lists the sources: it is a blend of "organic, non-GMO, and fair trade certified black teas – malty Assam (that is N Eastern India) robust Ceylon (today called Sri Lanka), brisk Chinese Keemun and hints of floral Darjeeling (from W India foothills). . ." You can search Numi online to learn their manufacturing headquarters.
Question:	having a little trouble with the 1lb bag, which I bought after loving the one sample of this tea in the assorted box. does anyone have any tips? ty
Answer:	I use it 1-2 spoons (depending on how strong one likes the tea) with 3 (or 4) YOGI Mayan Cocoa Spice tea bags! It's delicious! And the 1lb bag won't last that long after drinking it often through the winter!

Question:	What is the country of origin
Answer:	Gunpowder tea traditionally made in China, it got its name from the shape of tea leaves rolled into a pellet. In China it is called zhu cha (pearl tea). In China this tea has many grades of quality - from the cheap at 1 dollar a pound to very expensive aged tea to 1000 dollars a pound. Tea could be contaminated w lead and other toxic chemicals or could be totally clean. Tea made for export usually is different from the one for the domestic market, since it is specified for the requirements of each country. Teas specified to the U.S. standards are generally clean or organic, so no worry! :)

Answer:	I have learned the best way to brew this tea is: 1. Heat water to 180 degrees (too hot will not give optimal flavor and will diminish the antiox. benefit) 2. steep for 4 mins (too long will cause the bitterness of the tannins to come through) 3. pre-warm the cup (I rinse the cuop under hot water before pouring the tea into it. This may sound complicated but it isnt once you have a method. I drink 36 ounces every morning before work....I love this tea.

Answer:	Depends on exactly how much tea you use per cup. This has been my wife's everyday tea for almost two years now and normally make it one teaspoon/cup. I was surprised by the wide range (50-300 cups) of answers and all the guessing that led to them so I did the math. I weighed a teaspoon of tea using my kitchen scale and came up with an average of 2.33 grams. The bag contains 453 grams of tea. 453/2.33= 194 cups of tea per bag

Green Tea Facial Mask

Grind 1 tbsp Numi Gunpowder Green tea into a fine powder with a mortar & pestle or food processor. Mix the green tea with ½ tsp baking soda and 1 ½ tsp raw honey. Wash face and apply the mask; leave on for 5-10 min. For maximum skin brightening effects, gently rub your skin in small circular motions to exfoliate as you remove the mask, then rinse.
