Who We Are
We've had a deep fascination with flavor for 130 years – and we believe you can taste the difference.
We’re a UK independent family tea company and our story starts back in 1886. We have strong family values and a love for fairness, quality, creativity and treating our partners and suppliers with respect.
We re-invest part of our profits in community and environmental projects, to make a continued difference to the quality of our tea and to the lives of the people who grow it.
Our teas and infusions stand on the shoulders of more than a century of tea-making history and passion. And we're completely, utterly devoted to the pursuit of extraordinary flavor.
Giving Back
Taylors is committed to supporting people and planet, both in the Yorkshire region where we’re based and in our global tea and coffee supply chain. We see investment in community and environmental projects as critical to support our long term future, and work to grow strong, lasting relationships, sometimes over decades, to make a continued difference to the quality of our teas and to the lives of the people who grow them.
Our team of tea and coffee buyers spend many months a year overseas so we see firsthand the difference we’re making to the communities we rely on for our tea and coffee. It’s not always easy and many of the challenges within our global supply chain are deep-rooted and complex, but we’re proud of our commitment, the progress made so far, and deeply grateful for the on-going support and commitment we receive from suppliers and partners.
Taylors Sourcing Approach
(TSA) is our model for how we buy our tea and coffee. Rather than simply ‘buying a commodity’, TSA is a way of buying which allows us to build the supply chain we want and need for the future. At its heart is a commitment to put our values at the center of how we buy, underpinned by long-term relationships with key strategic suppliers.
The Environment
By reducing our environmental impacts, both within our own operations and our supply chain, and by planting trees and supporting other carbon capture and reduction projects, we’re working towards making our tea and coffee range ‘carbon neutral’.
Improving Livelihoods
The tea and coffee sector is highly dependent on the smallholders who grow 80% of the world’s coffee and 70% of global tea production. Decreasing farm size, access to and cost of soil inputs, rudimentary farming methods, lack of investment in infrastructure and increasingly unpredictable weather and patterns, are all impacting on smallholders’ ability to make a living.
Resilient Communities
We’re committed to ensuring the communities in which our suppliers, smallholders and workers are based are resilient and sustainable for the future. Together with our key suppliers, we work to understand the challenges their communities face and support projects and initiatives to address them. These vary in scale and reach, from small timebound partnerships with suppliers, to significant industry collaborations.

User questions & answers
Question: | Why is there a California’s Proposition 65 lead warning label? Does the tea have lead in it |
Answer: | yes, I believe so. I have purchased so many of the tins but wanted just the tea bags now. I re-use the tins. (I add lemon and honey to this tea - great for a sore throat!) |
Question: | Are the tea bags in the 24 pack (2 boxes of 16 tea bags) individually wrapped |
Answer: | The sale at our store "Healthy Food Shop" is for 6/16 BAG, total 96 tea bags. |
Question: | how many tea bags are included |
Answer: | In my opinion, this tea has the most natural, "peppermint" taste, not a strange, biting, chemically or grass-like flavor. I tend to primarily make cold iced tea with this flavor, so I can't really say what the hot tea will taste like (my experience has been that some teas taste very different hot versus cold). But, like I said, I like this brand because it's the most pleasant, smooth peppermint flavor - slightly sweet with no sharp aftertaste. I agree that many other peppermint teas aren't very good. |
Question: | Does it have caffeine |
Answer: | Of all Yogi's teas, Yogi Purely Peppermint contains the most mint. They also recommend their Egyptian Licorice Mint tea, which has a minty, spicy sweet flavor profile. |
- Flavor: Yogi Comforting Chamomile tea is an aromatic and floral herbal tea made with Organic Chamomile Flower.

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these tea bags individually wrapped |
Answer: | You need to ask the manufacturer. This is going to the people who bought it. |
Question: | Has anyone made ice tea with the Yogi organic Chamomile tea bags |
Answer: | I do. I use a cup that is 16oz and put two bags in and let steep for 2-4 minutes before drinking. The flavor works well for me at those conditions and I sleep very well. |
Question: | Is it matricaria chamomilla |
Answer: | Yes! It's very nice espec for a hot summer evening. I'd try it someday when you will be home all day. Some people are more susceptible to its calming effects. I can drink a gallon of it but my husband is snoring after two glasses. Hope you enjoy it. I buy all our tea and coffee at Amazon now. Usually they are far less expensive, espec with teas, than supermarkets. |
Question: | Is there anyway to know how much tannin is in the Chamomile tea |
Answer: | YES! I received mine today, April 14, 2020. There are 6 (six) boxes and each box contains 40 (forty) tea bags. That being said, your math is correct in that 40 tea bags per box x 6 boxes = 240 tea bags in total. I will also include a picture of the package in my review just to clear this up once and for all. I hope this helps to answer your question beyond any doubt. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I use 2 tea bags in one cup |
Answer: | no. it is herbal and most herbal teas are caffeine free. it is good and flavorfu! |
Question: | Has anyone ever tried it iced |
Answer: | I have heard of a woman who had significant hair regrowth from spearmint capsules. I am hoping this tea will help me. Probably depends on what’s causing your hair loss. If hormonal, this should help. |
Question: | does this pakcage actually have 40 x 6=240 tea bags |
Answer: | It’s saying it’s 100% organic certified in the US. |
Question: | are they indiviually wrapped in each box |
Answer: | Nettle is considered a blood-purifier because it supports the liver and kidneys, while gently detoxing the body. One of the liver’s jobs is to process hormones, so a healthy liver leads to proper hormone balance. Therefore nettle may be beneficial in instances of hormonal imbalance with menstrual issues such as endometriosis, heavy menstrual flow, menstrual cramping, and irregular menstrual cycles. Nettle helps to decrease heavy menstrual flow by making your period lighter and reducing the severity of cramps. https://storydawning.com/nettle-leaf-for-menstrual-issues/ |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do the bags have metal staples |
Answer: | Tannins are naturally occurring in plants and therefore exists in natural amounts in some of the herbs and botanicals used in Yogi's teas. Although Yogi does not treat their teas to increase or decrease the natural tannin content, they don’t measure their teas for tannin levels. |
Question: | How many milligrams of licorice are in each tea bag? I’ve been consuming a lot of it for years and found out it’s dangerous |
Answer: | No. Have you had your taste buds checked? Perhaps the water you used to prepare the tea or wash the cup/pot the tea was prepared in? |
Question: | What kind of chamomile does this use |
Answer: | I have experience with the 50 and 100 count packages of English Breakfast. Both are bagged tea, but the 100 count are each individually wrapped in a paper/foil pack. The 50 count is bags, loose in the container. Actually two bags connected by a thin perforation. The 50 count are perfect for using in a pot. The bags are full sized, and two bags will make four cups of strong tea. I use three bags per four cups, but I like it strong enough to stand up without a cup. The 100 count are not only annoying to unwrap each bag if you're using multiples in a pot, but they're also not as large (and more powdery). They make one cup each bag, and no more,. I really wish they sold the 50 style packaging in a larger bulk count. |
Question: | WHAT is the expration date on this chamomile box |
Answer: | I just opened it, it has: Descaffeinated breakfast tea Green tea jasmine Lemon & orange tea Organic charmomile Earl grey tea Organic peppermint English breakfast tea Assam tea Box looks really pretty it has 6 bags of each. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this Dandelion tea have CAFFEIN in it? ty |
Answer: | This is Matricaria chamomilla, German chamomile. |
Question: | where is the tea made in |
Answer: | We only drink this loose leaf tea. It can be mixed with other foods like smoothie or yogurt. There are other forms of Chamomile, like oil, which can be used for skin care. |
Question: | Is this only a liver cleanser? Or does it have other benefits |
Answer: | Thank you for your question. Because we haven't had experience with our customers using this in a dry herb vaporizer we cannot give a definitive answer. The flowers are organic, so there should be no concerns with pesticides, but just to be safe, we would recommend speaking to a doctor before trying this with any of our products. |
Question: | is the bark the inner bark, outer bark or a mix? The inner bark is, from what I understand, what contains the healing properties |
Answer: | It would depend on how much you use per cup. I combine other herbs for a tea but generally speaking two heaping table spoons of Chamomile crushed up in a mortar and pestle to enhance the flavor of chamomile will yield four cups. The 4.0z bag last quite awhile. Use a mortar and pestle to gain more flavor with less herb brew with the entire plant material and strain with a fine mesh strainer. |

Taylors of Harrogate Organic Chamomile Herbal Tea, 50 Teabags
- Allergen Information: Abalone Free
User questions & answers
Question: | Is there any caffeine in the tea |
Answer: | The gift box is made of cardboard. I found it to be very presentable. I gave it as a gift. I have been drinking Taylors of Harrogate teas for many years. Ever since my son gave me the gift of a box of Yorkshire Tea he picked up while on a business trip to London. I order my Taylors of Harrogate teas from Amazon. A similar box with eight compartments made of wood would cost an additional $20 to $30 depending on the type of wood. I recently gave a gift and the single compartment cedar wood "rustic presentation box" cost 6.95 pounds (about $11.47). When I gave this gift I was thinking of giving quality teas not a wood box. |
Question: | Does the english breakfast tea contain bergenot |
Answer: | My tea didn’t come in a box, so I’m not sure. I drank it and haven’t had any issues. |
Question: | Can the Asssam Black tea be used to make a milk tea |
Answer: | Your question doesn't make sense to me. 24 pack? 2 boxes of 16 tea bags? 16 +16 = 32. My one box had each tea bag individually wrapped. Hope this helps |
Question: | Is it wrapped individually |
Answer: | There are 16 wrapped tea bags in the package. |

About Taylors of Harrogate
We are a family business based in the historic spa town of Harrogate, England – devoted to the craft of tea and coffee. We do things properly, without shortcuts, showing care and respect to everyone along the way – from the people who grow it to the people who drink it. Our tea experts have decades of experience in seeking out the tea from the gardens in the world, and skillfully blending flavour-packed fruits and herbs to create our infusions.
Taylors is built on long term relationships, often developed over decades.
Small changes in product size & weight lead to lower carbon emissions.
We created Compact by Design to identify products that, while they may not always look very different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you kindly post/clarify brewing instructions? I'm confused with what's written on box. Thanks, in advance |
Answer: | The box I received with 50 teabags was ones that were tag less and not individually wrapped. Kind of prefer the ones with tags that are individually wrapped but still very good tea. |
Question: | What are the dimensions of this item |
Answer: | I do. I use a cup that is 16oz and put two bags in and let steep for 2-4 minutes before drinking. The flavor works well for me at those conditions and I sleep very well. |
Question: | What are the dimensions of the tin container |
Answer: | Yes! It's very nice espec for a hot summer evening. I'd try it someday when you will be home all day. Some people are more susceptible to its calming effects. I can drink a gallon of it but my husband is snoring after two glasses. Hope you enjoy it. I buy all our tea and coffee at Amazon now. Usually they are far less expensive, espec with teas, than supermarkets. |
Question: | Hi, how is this tea prepare? Is it more like a loose leaf tea |

Question: | how many tea bags come with the box |
Answer: | Looks like the inorganic green tea "product of Taiwan" is no longer carried by Amazon for monthly subscribe and save. Non-Amazon vendors are charging about double the old Amazon price. (2020/06/21) I'm going to try the new Organic Unsweetened Green Tea which is available for subscribe and save. But, these label photos DO say "product of Japan." I doubt I'll be able to note any flavor difference, and I hope I don't, since I like it just the way it was, organic or not. It's more or less the same price as the inorganic was as far as subscribe and save (about a buck a bottle, which is a great deal). |
Question: | So if I order this I get 6 boxes with 20 bags each |
Answer: | Please see http://www.itoen.com/ready-to-drink/oi-ocha/oi-ocha-dark-16-9-fl-oz-12-bottles-case, which is worded confusingly, saying that it has 50 mg per 8 oz even though each bottle is 16.9 oz, so it's actually a bit north of 100 mg. If you want less caffeine, the non-bold version only has 60 mg per bottle. |
Question: | Are these tea bags individually wrapped |
Answer: | Nespresso Capsules OriginalLine, Flavored Variety Pack are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo machines. Nespresso OriginalLine capsules are compatible with all Nespresso OriginalLine machines. |
Question: | Could Amazon please put the reviews that actually go with this product, rather than all Twinings teas combined |
Answer: | 10 pods per box, usually sold as sets of 3 boxes (30) 5 boxes (50), etc. Nespresso coffee is excellent. I found myself drinking less coffee, but enjoying it more. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What country is this tea from |
Answer: | It is really good. I steep the tea in half cup of hot water for about five to 10 minutes before I go to bed. I use a tablespoonful of Chamomile flowers and a teaspoonful of bullock tea as my sleeping aid. They both have been helping me greatly. They both taste really good too. Good luck! |
Question: | Has anyone used this tea to brew kombucha |
Answer: | This is an Amazon problem in every department. Whether CDs, tea, electronics, or furniture, they conflate reviews from similar products or same vendors into one set of reviews. This happened to me yesterday looking for a flash drive; I found several with held one T of data, but the reviews mostly referenced a 64 gb flash drive. I've explained this problem to Amazon reps about this many times to no avail. |
Question: | All these tea reviews are grouped together. can someone tell me how many stars they'd give the gunpowder variety - taste and quality? tia |
Answer: | No staples. But no string either |
Question: | I'm concerned about heavy metals in green tea from China. Do you know if "USDA organic" includes testing for heavy metals from Chinese soil? I'm drinking A LOT of this tea so it matters to me |
Answer: | There isn't any licorice in the Celestial Chamomile tea. Why don't you look at the ingredients on the box? |

About the Brand
The Bigelow® Tea Story
Beginning the moment our founder, Ruth Campbell Bigelow created "Constant Comment"® Tea in her kitchen in 1945, our family has focused on just one thing trying to make the finest teas possible. Over the years we have introduced many new flavors as well as concepts in tea. Today we offer a selection of deliciously different blends of teas and green teas, a wide variety of herbal teas and teas flavored with real fruit juice. Today Bigelow Tea is the number one specialty tea company in the United States. And to think it all began with the first legendary black tea flavored with golden orange rind and sweet spice "Constant Comment"®Tea.
Bigelow takes immense pride in providing the tea drinking community with the best tea at a great value. We only use hand- picked teas, real spices, flavors and herbs. The flavors and blends we have created are second to none. Some of our teas contain up to twenty different ingredients! And because tea is a leaf that can dry out we take steps to protect it. To keep the teas fresh, we seal our tea bags in protective packets. We simply have to protect those delightful flavors. Thats why a cup of Bigelow Tea is aromatic and delicious; a true indulgence for the senses.
- Time For Sleep: This herbal tea is made with whole chamomile flowers for a much sweeter rounder flavorful experience. The naturally soothing properties of chamomile come through both in the flavor and aroma for a relaxing experience

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this help with bloating |
Answer: | unsure, but relaxing. l'm not buying any more Celestial Seasonings thru Amazon. Ordered 6 boxes of Maderin Orange, maybe someone grabbed from porch. |
Question: | Does each pack of 6 have twenty bags to equal 120 bags total |
Answer: | 2010 |
Question: | Which country does the chamomile come from |
Answer: | Black, green, oolongs, white - all these teas have caffeine. The caffeine content in tea is approx. 1/3 of caffeine of coffee. Caffeine level is very similar in all these types of tea as they all come from the same plant Camellia Sinensis. Teas can be decaffeinated through a special process. Also, you may opt for herbal infusions that are made from plants, that don't contain any caffeine, such as Chamomile, Peppermint, Rooibos (also called red tea), and many many others! |
Question: | Can you mix milk with or does it make sense to mix milk with it? Thanks |
Answer: | Only Earl Grey contains bergamot, which is oil from Mediterranean fruit. Some Earl Greys might be flavored with other ingredients that give the same "begamoty" flavor and aroma. |

User questions & answers
Question: | The description says it’s one box of 20 tea bags... that can’t be right for the price. If it’s 6 boxes of 20, can you change the description |
Answer: | There is no information on the package? However, the amount of caffeine is controlled by how much tea you use & how long you steep it! |
Question: | Organic and non gmo |
Answer: | Puer or Puerh is a special tea fermented usually sold in bricks, discs, or mushrooms. It’s a highly specialized tea from the Yunnan region. It is exquisite. If you do a regular Internet search you can find out more information about how this tea is produced and sold. It’s usually very earthy, in the best sort of way. |
Question: | What Are The Benefits Of Using This Product |
Answer: | I think what you want to ask is: does bottled tea have the same health benefits as freshly brewed tea? I heard that it doesn't. I think you lose some healthy components like within an hour after it is brewed. I don't think Bottling preserves everything good in fresh tea. I bet this has been researched. Wonder what good things are left in bottled teas, and if there's any Bad components created. Pretty sure plastic bottles will add some bad components. |
Question: | They show the old packaging... does this mean that they're selling old boxes of the original formulation of this tea? The newer version sucks |
Answer: | No just plastic bottles |
