Question: | Whats the difference between 1 pack and |
Answer: | the other choice is ,you get 2 boxes & a Halloween pail...great deal at $12??? Be careful...this deal is not prime,it has a shipping fee of $47. I suppose we all should heed the warnings of our parents..."if it sounds too good to be true,it's not" ,"did you read the fine print, because there is always a catch to these things" ,"well I don't want to tell you what to do,but if it was me,I wouldn't do it" ,FYI,I dearly love my parents, have a good day. |
Question: | Are these regular sized cookies? Or larger size (like a Grandma's cookie)? Thanks |
Answer: | Regular size. The chips ahoy arent smaller than a regular sized one but still small and would not fit in an easter egg. And with my experience likely would be broken anyway. |
Question: | Do you reccomend |
Answer: | I would not recommend these The two times I have ordered them they have came smashed. The first time I thought it might of happened due to delivery. The 2nd time when I opened my shipping box they had the cookies in the bottom of the box with heavier items on top. Box was smashed and cookies were crumbled. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it black tea |
Answer: | Yes, it’s black tea! And it’s my favorite tea! |
Question: | Are Pesticides, fungicides or herbicides used |
Answer: | I do not believe it is "Organic" so I would think there are some type of preservative used. I am not aware of any specific types used |
Question: | what does it mean blended for US water |
Answer: | It means that it is blended for hard water, as most of the water in the United States is hard. http://homewater101.com/articles/hard-water-across-us |
Question: | What does "blended for us water" mean, in the description of the product? what needs to be done to adapt to us water |
Answer: | An important factor in gourmet tea consumption is the "maltiness" of the tea. Hard versus soft water will directly affect malt. I believe malt refers to the body of the tea, sort of like a very subtle thickness. More malt equals more body. Less malt equals thinner body. I do not know if malt affects taste. For example, Scottish Breakfast Tea (as opposed to English Breakfast tea, etc.) is formulated with an extra malt blend for the water there, which is soft. Blended for US water means harder(?) water is taken into account, perhaps with other US related factors I don't know about. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I found the Irish to have a fishy flavor - anyone else get that |
Answer: | No. Have you had your taste buds checked? Perhaps the water you used to prepare the tea or wash the cup/pot the tea was prepared in? |
Question: | Are these tea bags or loose teas |
Answer: | I have experience with the 50 and 100 count packages of English Breakfast. Both are bagged tea, but the 100 count are each individually wrapped in a paper/foil pack. The 50 count is bags, loose in the container. Actually two bags connected by a thin perforation. The 50 count are perfect for using in a pot. The bags are full sized, and two bags will make four cups of strong tea. I use three bags per four cups, but I like it strong enough to stand up without a cup. The 100 count are not only annoying to unwrap each bag if you're using multiples in a pot, but they're also not as large (and more powdery). They make one cup each bag, and no more,. I really wish they sold the 50 style packaging in a larger bulk count. |
Question: | what flavors of tea are offered in this variety box |
Answer: | I just opened it, it has: Descaffeinated breakfast tea Green tea jasmine Lemon & orange tea Organic charmomile Earl grey tea Organic peppermint English breakfast tea Assam tea Box looks really pretty it has 6 bags of each. |
Question: | Is the box wood or cardboard |
Answer: | The gift box is made of cardboard. I found it to be very presentable. I gave it as a gift. I have been drinking Taylors of Harrogate teas for many years. Ever since my son gave me the gift of a box of Yorkshire Tea he picked up while on a business trip to London. I order my Taylors of Harrogate teas from Amazon. A similar box with eight compartments made of wood would cost an additional $20 to $30 depending on the type of wood. I recently gave a gift and the single compartment cedar wood "rustic presentation box" cost 6.95 pounds (about $11.47). When I gave this gift I was thinking of giving quality teas not a wood box. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these teas gluten-free? i would like to buy this for a family member, but they have celiac's and i want to make sure it's okay before i purchase |
Answer: | I realize I may not have been clear with my prior answer. The packaging does not specifically state it is gluten free but please know that tea itself is gluten free. This brand is also delicious! I hope this helps. |
Question: | Are the teas labeled |
Answer: | Yes. |
Question: | I read the description... please tell me about the tea? What flavors? Source? Organic |
Answer: | I haven't purchased the gift set, but have re-ordered the Pure Assam Golden Tip (leaf tea) from Vadham several times. It is a wonderful tea with a pure, authentic flavor. No "dust" at the end bottom of the bag. I think this company is a good source and it would be worth it to try their gift set. I would imagine that a mixed gift set would be from different locations. |

Builders Tea in a box of 80 Tea Bags. Builders Tea is just a good cup of black tea. The Master Blend for Builders Tea has hand-picked tea leaves from estates in Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
User questions & answers
Question: | What happened to Builders? Did they go under |
Answer: | I hope not. It's one of my favorite teas and I get it through Amazon since there is no distribution in my area. |
Question: | How compare to bewley’s tea |
Answer: | Can't compare with Bewley's because I haven't had that brand of tera. However I prefer Builder's, a full-bodied black tea, to Yukon Gold, Twining's English Breakfast, even Fortnum and Mason's E. Breakast. If you like full flavor and body, try Builder's. |
Question: | Is this loose tea or tea bags like Lipton? Would it work with sugar and lemon, can you leave the bag in while you drink or would it become too bitter |
Answer: | Tea bags. My husband drinks it with milk and sugar, so I'm sure you can drink it with sugar and lemon if that is your preference. I personally wouldn't leave the tea bag in while you drink it, because I don't like tea that is bitter, but if you typically leave the bag in for your usual black tea, then I can't see any reason not to with this. It has a nice, smooth flavor, very similar to PG Tips, just with a little more caffeine kick (in my opinion). It's one of our favorites, and we keep it on hand for mornings. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this as strong as Typhoo decaf? Thank you |
Answer: | It has been years, if not decades since I have had Typhoo tea. The British decaf is strong and great tasting. I prefer it over the regular Tetley black tea. Hope that helps. Just give it a try. Hope you like it. |
Question: | Usually there's still some caffeine in decaf. Does the maker of this one say how much there is |
Answer: | According to Tetley website, there is 4-6 mg/cup or 0.4% by volume, which is 99.6% caffeine free. Hope this helps. |
Question: | What process is used for this decaf tea |
Answer: | Tetley Tea uses a water/steam process and then the tea leaves go through the ethyl acetate process. The ethyl acetate absorbs the caffeine from the tea leaves. Any excess ethyl acetate is removed as the tea dries. |
Question: | are these paper or individually wrapped tea bags |
Answer: | Yes they are individual bags like any tea bag, but no strings. they are round so they work well in single cup coffee makers. Great tea, by the way. |

Answer: | Typhoo are round with no strings |

Answer: | 60 in one foil pack so there were 4 foil bags...at least this is how I got them when I bought 240 of them |
Question: | What is the expiration date on the tea? We would need at least a year to get through 240 bags |
Answer: | The box I just received has an expiration date of Nov 2019. They come in sealed packets of 40 tea bags/packet. When I open a packet, I keep it in a sealed container. In my opinion, the last tea tastes a good as the first. |

Small changes in product size & weight lead to lower carbon emissions.
We created Compact by Design to identify products that, while they may not always look very different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.
