Question:	Is it common to hsve white specks in granules
Answer:	What you are seeing are remnants of the silver skin from coffee beans. The heat of the roasting process converts the internal moisture into steam causing the skin to heat up and the bean to expand. When roasting is completed the skin falls off and is removed from the roaster. It goes through the grounding process but at times you could potentially see some traces. The coffee is safe to brew.

Answer:	The grind in the LavAzza espresso ground coffee seems to be fairly universal. I use it in an Expresso machine as well as the stove top Bialetti four cup maker and the grind makes good coffee.

Answer:	I believe the expiration date is on the bottom of the can - my latest batch says 280215 (Feb. 28, 2015). But, coffee generally lasts a good amount of time if it is not opened....

Answer:	Hi it is ground for espresso machines but yes you can use in a standard drip machine as long as your filter is fine. It is not an instant coffee so just adding hot water in a mug isn't recommended. If you just want strong coffee however I'd suggest their standard ground coffee using less water in your Coffee maker for a better result. Enjoy!

Answer:	I cant imagine why this grind would not work in a moka pot. I use this grind in a drip coffee maker as well as keurig refillable type pods. I use less of this coffee in the brewer than the regular American drip grind. This is a European type grind that is almost like a powder. You definitely can use less than you normally would.

Answer:	hi. the beans are not oily at all. they are perfectly roasted. oily is a misconception that oily is the freshest bean, but it can be quite the opposite. depending on what type of machine you have the Lavazza beans are the best. We have a Gaggia Titanium and all other beans get stuck/clogged. hope this helps.
Question:	Would this coffee be good to use in a regular drip coffeemaker, or is an espresso maker required? Thank you
Answer:	It will make a smooth, flavorable cup of regular coffee. Just grind the beans for a drip coffee machine. The Super Crema Espresso Beans are an Italian roast (medium) rather than a dark roast that is sometimes bitter. Some mornings when time is tight, I make a pot of regular coffee and steam milk for cafe au lait.
Question:	How many servings are in this bag
Answer:	It all depend on how you use it. I use 19 grams of beans to pull a 36 gram 28 second espresso shot (I use a non-pressurized filter). 2.2 lbs = 1000 grams, thus, I get about 52 cappuccinos. I probably average about 2.5 per day, therefore, each bag lasts me about 3 weeks. With a pressurized filter, the standard is 7 grams per shot, therefore, 140 shots. Using my chemex I will use 10 grams per cup, therefore I get 100 cups. Many people use 7 grams per cup, so they will get 140 cups. Hope this helps. (btw, this comes to about 45 cents per cappuccino, with milk it comes to 60 cents each, at 2.5 per day I spend $1.50 for what would cost me $10 per day at Starbucks (the McDonald's of coffee).
Question:	What is the difference going from Super Crema to Gran Crema
Answer:	Both are medium roasts. However, the Gran Crema is 40% South America arabica and 60% Southeast Asia robusta beans, where Super Crema is 60% Southeast Asia robusta beans and and 40% South American arabica beans, so the Super Crema is going to be more delicate with brighter tones (more fruity) while the Gran Crema is going to have deeper and richer tones, more chocolate-y and nutty. For those who say that these beans are bitter, they--or their machine--may be overextracting the beans. If grinding your own, may want to try a coarser grind to make less bitter. If sour, may want to try grinding finer. Can be a little difficult to distinguish the two, so may want to do some research online for how to differentiate. Regarding the flavor of creama (not this product, but generally speaking), creama usually does not taste very good. What crema does help do is allow one to identify how well their extraction went.

Question:	what is the "best before" date on bottoms of cans
Answer:	The product description that Amazon puts online does not (but should) tell you what the Production Date and Expiration Date is on the bottom of the cans that are for sale. I bought 6 cans in June 2020 that don't expire until 2022, but then in August 2020 I bought another 6 cans (that cost about $8.00 more) that will expire before the end of 2020 !! Furthermore, Lavazza changed its can design. The photo posted is of the new can (gold medallion), but what I got was the old can (red medallion) that expires December 30, 2020. Luckily, unopened coffee should still be pretty good after the expiration date, right?
Question:	Can this be used in an electric based espresso machine
Answer:	I've been using this with my breville expresso machine but each can does not have consistent grind so you have to adapt the amount (more or less) to get the right pressure still using it tho
Question:	Relative to other 100% pure arabica coffee , does it has a high caffeine concentration
Answer:	I am not sure about other 100% pure arabica coffee but I looked on the Lavazza website and it states that it's caffeine level is about 1.4%. You can try to compare that to other brands. Hope that helps.
Question:	Can I use it with a "moka" coffee machine (like Bialetti
Answer:	You can, but your results may be a little splashy. I would recommend that you use Illy instead. Illy offers purpose grind coffees and roast specifically for your needs. I have used Lavazza and I do not see that it measures up to Illy....at least for a drip coffee machine. I do not want to sound like an Illy representative, however, I find that product to be superior to Lavazza, unless of course you don't mind spending $100.00 dollars a pound for Isle St. Helena coffee (magnificent).

Question:	can you brew 'regular' coffee? I have a Philips 3200 arriving soon
Answer:	I never thought of trying this because the drops are concentrated and it might be hard to gage how much to use. A Soda Stream bottle requires 1/2 tea so I added 1/4 tea to 8 oz. of water and the taste is subtle but pleasant. So I would say that's a definite yes
Question:	how fresh can this coffee be when roasted in Italy
Answer:	That's a pretty open-ended question. They are made for soda water. but you can do with it what you want. No one is going to stop you. :)

Answer:	It was orange......
