Answer: This is my opinion, but Brain Storm has a bite to it, that keeps my mind more awake. I feel the mellow belly is a little more easy on the stomach, but both are mellow.

Answer: Hi, Based on our inventory turnover at Amazon, the max time from when it is roasted to when you received it should be 1 month. That leaves at least 4 months of freshness for an unclosed bag from the date you received it. Thank you for your great question. Our roaster has told us in the past that if the coffee bag is not opened then the coffee is still flavorful after 5 months. However, after the bag is opened, the flavor is retained best up to one month. This is duration in regards to flavor degradation. There is no harm in drinking it after this date. Answer: Out of all the low acid on Amazon, only Maverick brand puts the acid numbers up. I have been ordering and drinking Lucy Joe's for years and having tried almost every single brand Amazon has to offer, feel safe in saying Lucy Joe's is the easiest on my digestive system. But if you do have any problems, I find the Sumatran to be of even lower acid than Brain Storm, but especially the decaf is so low, I can guzzle down 2 whole pots of that and be just fine.

Lima, Oct. 12 (ANDINA). The town of Naranjas, located in Peru’s northern Andean region of Cajamarca, produces one of the best coffees in the world due to its aroma, flavor and quality, reported US satellite and cable television business news channel CNBC. Sunshine in your cup, grown by farmers of the APPROCASSI Fair Trade Group from Cajamarca province in Peru. Which means you’re not just getting an excellent coffee, you’re supporting sustainable farming, too. The coffee crop is cultivated in between trees so it is shielded completely from the sun. The Peruvian coffee is grown completely in shade. The beans are picked over a period of five months, i.e. May to September by hand. The next step, pulping, is also done by hand after which the beans are stored in huge fermentation tanks which helps in cleaning them. Lastly, the coffee beans are transported to the market where about 80 percent is exported. The farms where the coffee is grown are small, about 2-3 acres each where the farmers work hard to uphold the amazing quality of the crop using exclusively indigenous methods. Each farm is equipped with a micro-wet milling system which is yet another effort to keep Peru free form any type of chemical pollution. Full City Plus, a few snaps into 2nd crack, was nice, chocolaty, but more one-dimensional. The wet aroma has heather-like flowers. At that magical roast level, at City Plus, the cup has a fantastic milky chocolate, almonds, coconut. It's like a candy bar! Question: Does freezing the beans keep them fresher
Answer: That is a great question! It is a release valve. When coffee is roasted, we want to put it in a bag right away to preserve freshness. However, roasted coffee releases carbon dioxide. If the bag was sealed without a hole, it could expand and burst open due to the carbon dioxide release. The valve let's out the carbon dioxide and releases the pressure. The valve also does not allow oxygen into the bag. Oxygen takes away from the freshness of the coffee. So the valve is designed to let out carbon dioxide but not let in oxygen. Answer: Thank you for the question...we love this question! You might already know some of this but we wanted to put a bunch of information down in case other customers are also curious. Average pH of standard coffee is about 5.155. Depending on the caffeination level you choose of Mommee Coffee, our pH levels range from 5.8 to 6.0 (6.0 is the decaf). However, there are two important things to note: 1. Our premium beans are roasted in a proprietary roasting machine that lowers the acid content of the coffee. We have extensively tested our coffee and not only is it four times lower in acid according to pH levels, it also has less than half the chlorogenic acid as compared to typical coffee. Chlorogenic acid is considered the culprit behind acid reflux. 2. On the pH scale, a pH of 7 is considered neutral. Moving to a pH level of 0 is more acidic and moving towards a pH level of 14 is more base. The really interesting thing is that each whole pH value below 7 is ten times more acidic than the next higher value. For example, a pH of 4 is ten times more acidic than a pH of 5 and a hundred times (10 X 10) more acidic than a pH of 6. We hope this answer helps. Answer: I only recently switched to the "w/pulp" C20, but the regular C20 cans are NOT aluminum, they are tin, like soup cans. In other words, a magnet will attach to them. I'd be very surprised if my shipment of C20 w/pulp, currently in route, is any different.EDIT: Confirmed. Answer: I bought the can and there was absolutely no sound when I opened it and no effervescent taste. I usually pour mine in a cup and there's no fizzing or bubbles whatsoever. I highly doubt it's carbonated. Maybe the others were old/rancid?

Answer: This brand used to 100% coconut water no fruit sugar added, sometime around 2018-2019 it added fruit sugar.

Answer: It is. There are little pieces of coconut -mostly at the bottom. They can be avoided if you don't particularly like them. I didn't think I would like them at first but now I only look for it "with pulp"

Answer: The cost is twice what I pay in my local store, but my store is always out of it. The delivery sucked. The box was right side up, but the cans were sideways in the box. Many of the cans were dented and one was leaking so all the cans were sticky. I won’t reorder.

Mountain Thunder’s 100% Kona Private Reserve Coffee starts its journey to your cup from the famous Kona Coffee Belt on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our 100% Kona Coffees are grown in an area that is only 26 miles long by 3 miles wide, providing ideal volcanic soil, cool mountain weather, abundant rain, and higher elevations for growing the finest coffee in the world.

At the height of ripeness, our pickers select only the fully ripe coffee cherry and handpick each fruit. Within 24 hours, we begin processing the coffee fruit in our own mill, removing the fruit pulp, and starting the drying process. After our 100% Kona Coffee has reached the proper moisture content, we age it for a few months in our temperature and humidity-controlled warehouse. This “resting” period helps bring out our famous Mountain Thunder 100% Kona Coffee aroma and flavor.

When our dried coffee is ready, we process it in our own dry mill, removing the parchment layer to expose the green coffee bean. Next, we sort our green coffee by size, density, and color.
