Question: | Is the chocolate sweetened |
Answer: | It is not sweetened. |
Question: | On the package itself an additional ingredient is mentioned: natural chocolate flavor. What does this mean exactly |

User questions & answers
Question: | More flavors |
Answer: | I havent ordered that brand in a long time, but from what I have read, they are the same, but due to some kind of law about kona coffee in Hawaii, if the coffee does not contain a certain percentage of kona, they are not aloud to call it Kona coffee, or they have to state Kona blend, so maybe instead of putting kona blend on the front, they opted for just Sunrise, just make sure it was made in hawaii or US, n not china or some other country without FDA regulations. |
Question: | What % Kona Coffee is this |
Answer: | Not sure when that happened |
Question: | When I placed the order, the label says “Kona Sunrise”. I’ve received the package and it only says “Sunrise”. Is this different |
Answer: | This coffee is way too weak for me the price is good but the quality is not i made a mistake ordering this coffee. |
Question: | Why did they change the blend |
Answer: | The box does not say sugar anywhere... 100% Arabica coffee natural and artificial flavoring.....they do have a web sight if that would help www.victorallen.com |

Answer: | This is not instant coffee. You brewed in a coffee machine with a filter. You can add anything you like for your personal taste. |
Question: | Is this coffee made with Arabica or Robusto beans |
Answer: | I looked all over the package and couldn't find Arabica or Robusto. It just has 100% Colombian coffee. It is packaged in Colombia and from what I was told doesn't have the fillers that coffee packaged here does. I buy it 10 packs at a time and the bottom of the last bag taste as fresh as the 1st bag. All coffee I've had before the last half of the bag doesn't taste as good. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the actual flavor of woods and water |
Answer: | I haven’t ordered this flavor before. The vanilla hazelnut is very good ! |
Question: | All the images say the coffees are decaf, is this correct |
Answer: | -\If you go to this foreshortened Amazon URL, http://tinyurl.com/k8zkyop , you'll see an image that doesn't say "decaf" anywhere. If you order off what page, I'm pretty sure you'll get non-decaffeinated coffee. I would order of this page expecting to get regular coffee. So the short answer to your question is "no." It comes in decaffeinated versions. I would trust the headline and text more than the images which may be recycled for convenience even if they aren't perfectly appropriate. If images don't exactly match product, it wouldn't be the first time on Amazon. |
Question: | I followed the instructions of 2 tbsp coffee per 6 oz of water. why does it come out too strong? the woods and water is supposed to be a light roast |
Answer: | Strength and darkness of roast are two completely separate factors. The ratio of coffee to water is what determines how strong it is. That’s all. What that means is that any coffee can be brewed strong or weak. 2 tablespoons to 6 ounces of water might be stronger coffee than you are used to. Most Americans have gotten used to this because a lot of restaurants try to use as little coffee as they have to to keep costs down. Cameron’s recommendation is how coffee should taste. The darkness of the roast is exactly what it sounds like. It’s about how long the beans were left in the roaster. Think about steaks. A well done steak is always going to taste a little burnt and you end up tasting the char at least as much as you taste the meat. In the same way, dark roasted coffees like French roast or even espresso roast give you a little more of the roasted taste then just the taste of the coffee. Again, you can take any coffee in the world and simply not roast it very long and produce a “light roast” coffee. But the biggest factor with all of this it’s where the coffee comes from to begin with. The flavor of Mexican coffee, for instance is incredibly different from the taste of, say, coffee from Kenya. There are varying degrees of acidity, smoothness, and simply flavor. So you could get coffee from Guatemala, roast it for a short time, and brew it fairly strong, and you would get a very different cup of coffee from the same beans roasted longer and brewed weaker. The short answer to all of this is that you did get a light roast coffee. Experiment with backing off the amount of coffee to water until it tastes closer to what you prefer. Cheers! |
Question: | How does Cameron's Highlander Grog compare to Boston Stoker's Highlander Grog |
Answer: | I have had Boston Stoker's Highlander Grog & in my opinion Boston's is a much better tasting coffee but is also almost twice the price. I am not saying Cameron's is not good & I like the price. It's more like it is a weaker blend. I noticed right away that the aroma was not as enticing as Boston's either. |

User questions & answers
Question: | The reviews say this is decaf but is it |
Answer: | I believe that it would say decaf on the label if it were. For some reason the reviews all seemed to be reviewing different types/flavors of coffee and not just the house blend. So in my opinion, if it doesn’t say decaf on the label it’s regular coffee. |
Question: | Why is this now a pantry item |
Answer: | Because it can be stored in a pantry, no refrigeration needed, until opened. |
Question: | i used to get wonderful coffee at the v.a. from a seattles best machine. my favorite was level 3. is this the same that is used in the machine |
Answer: | i've never had this out of a machine, i sure wish they sold it in them around here, but it is level 3, and it is delicious coffee, seattle's best is my favorite, by far, of the others on the market. |
Question: | is this caffiene and acid free coffee |

How we roast
Here’s how we make our uniquely smooth blends: we start with better beans. Our beans are 100% Arabica and sourced exclusively from Latin America. Once we’ve sourced the beans, our master blenders create better blends for an easy, approachable taste. We ensure total consistency by insisting on rigorous quality checks throughout the process. We don’t just taste the stuff once or even twice. We stop and sample the beans at three crucial steps. From there, we use our special roasting expertise to create a surprisingly smooth taste. All that passion and hard work create an exceptionally smooth cup of coffee that’s flavorful and approachable.

The Origins of Responsibility
Product description
This is a coffee of one true love and three names. We created it just for a Seattle restaurant in 1975, naming it Jakes Blend. And people loved it. So many, in fact, that we began hand-scooping and blending it to order in our stores, where it was known as 80/20 Blend, for the recipe. The love was so strong, we finally made it official, calling it Verona after the city that inspires so many. By any name, this is a thing of pure romance.
- Caffe Verona is a well-balanced and rich coffee with a dark cocoa texture
- Darker-roasted coffees have fuller body with robust, bold taste
- Enjoy the Starbucks coffee you love without leaving the house
- For best taste, use cold, filtered water and store ground coffee in a cool, dark place
- Each pack includes one 28-ounce bulk bag of ground Starbucks coffee for your home or office
