| Answer: | You are always going to get the BEST speed with a wired connection. These Routers also normally have a built-in Switch. You want to make sure that part of is is a Gigabit switch. Generally these days, that's mostly all there is. In the past, you would have 10/100Megabit. Now it's 10,100,1000. 1000 is 1 Gigabit. You used to be able to buy just a Wired Router with No Wifi built in. Do they even make routers these days without Wifi built in? If you're not going to use Wifi, I'd get something a lot cheaper, that at least has 10/100/1000 ports Then turn off Wifi. Most of the fancy tech your paying for has to do with Wifi. I have my house wired with Cat6. Most of my hardware is plugged in. So for me, things that don't move around and have an ethernet port get plugged in. From Xbox to AppleTV. While other things like iPhone and iPad I use over Wifi. I don't know if you're worried abut the Wifi signal? It's really pretty WEAK!!! You get bombarded with other signals far stronger everywhere you go. If you get something like the PLUME MESH setup. These are small units that put out really low power. You just plug them into a power outlet. Depending n which ones you get, you plug them into your differnt rooms you want wifi in. It spreds Wifi around your house with a very low power signal using MESH network. The antenna's are internally on these small units. So instead of a larger unit with large antenna's sticking out trying to blast everywhere it can, Plume went the other way. Weaker signal, more units around your house. https://www.plume.com/ I haven't seen a router you couldn't turn off the Wifi. Except maybe these MESH systems. Wifi is the whole point. Even if you have a Cable Modem with a Wifi Router built-in, you can generally log in and disable that Wifi. People do that to use their own Wifi Router. |

Make sure your MR is on and not connected with the Ethernet yet (do it later). The RT will find the MR and configure it as a mesh node. Once that is done you can then connect the Ethernet cable from the RT lan port to the MR wan port and the back haul will use the Ethernet vs the 5Ghz Wireless connection. Keep in mind when you enable the mesh node you no longer will have access to the MR routers admin page. It becomes controlled through the RT SRT panel. |

Cables in the halls aren't a good look and modifications at the end of a drill don't go well with many rentals. Could a set of two CPEs (directional antenna device) be used to bridge the gap instead of an ethernet cable? 5Ghz has shorter range but these devices are rated for very long range and could avoid interference on 2.GHz band if needed. Or 2.4GHz could be used for better obstruction penetration and longer wavelength to carry. . They are directional, so when well aimed might be well suited to link two APs in place of a cable, then hand that off to a standard onmi antenna device after the CPEs have done their part to span the gap. Might be able to do more than one if close enough to a straight line, and narrow range angle covers more at distance (shotgun effect). They are powered over ethernet and mine is made for outdoor use and reviewers state they have a very long range, even connecting seperate structures on a property. Thought it might be helpful here, as two can be had for around $100. Never used them this way though, just to grab hotspot at range. |

I heard no complaints. They are paper cups...so I would not recommend them for baking unless you are putting baked items in them once the items are already baked :) |

| Answer: | It is a standard type and size of joint as far as I know. Got this for my father as a gift and he loves it, has had no issues with it. If you are referring to the threads and diameter of the screw, this I cannot tell you. I would contact the manufacturer for those kinds of specs |
