Unfortunately, there are 4 or five different versions of fit bits which apparently require different charging cables. Originally i just went by sight as the cable appeared to look similar to to the original but was astonished to find when they arrived that the new pieces were actually larger (by about 2+ times) and that the pins that contact the fit bit to charge were perpindicular to the fitbit band instead of the same direction. I looked closer at other options and found the correct one and it works fine. I'd say if you know what the exact model is, these replacements should be fine. Pay close attention to some of the ads or buttons you select as they actually say they won't work with particular mode;s and some even have pictures of the actual alignment of the charging contacts on the back odf your fit bit. |
