Question:	Will this mount mount on 2 wall studs that are 16 in apart
Answer:	The width of the mount is such that you should be able to mount it directly to wall studs in the wall. The mounting holes are enough that you don't have to have it at the outside corners. I have three of these and the one in the study I have four of the lag bolts with two just a little right of center and the other two all the way to the left side. Would not mount it with any plaster anchors at all.

Answer:	I have a 50” on mine and you can put up to a 60” on this one and it seems to work fine it’s been up for 6 months with no issues they include fairly big lag bolts as long as you get it fairly centered in the stud it should be fine

This TV Wall Mount is not recommended to be mounted in drywall only

Answer:	I have this mount, and I can tell you that none of the previous answers are correct. With the space between the two brackets on my TV, there were several inches of wiggle room to get the TV centered where I wanted. The wall bracket itself is only long enough to reach two studs, plus a few inches, so I had to mount it off center, then put the TV toward the end of it to center it on the wall

Answer:	It depends on how you mount the panel. Center the TV panel and fix it. It should be centered when it isn't extended

My assumption would be that it does, but you would need to check the specific model of the Insignia and validate if it has a VESA/Universal pattern.

Answer:	You don't have to use the tilt feature. You can set it in the zero degree tilt position which places the mounting point on the back of the TV the thickness of the collapsed Wall Mount mechanism away from the wall. There are two screws on each of the tilt assemblies that control the tension on the swing arms. With the TV being held in the desired position, you should torque them down pretty good. Answer:	Yes, it can. How much laterally will depend on the size of your TV. Basically you can move it as left or right as you want within the horizontal bracket. A bigger TV will be less moveable as the vertical guides will further apart.

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure. There's a square bit in the middle for smaller VESA mounts, then you add the four arms at the corners to expand to 400 x 400. It might be possible to swing the arms around so that 400 x 300 is an option, because the holes are there (300 x 300 is possible).

Question:	My studs are slightly off-center compared to where i want my tv mounted. is lateral adjustment possible
Answer:	Could not center a 200x200 TV with this mount. Studs were 18" apart and off center about 5". The mount doesn't have any adjustments from the back plate attached to the slotted mounting plates. So basically yes you can move the mount over to reach the slots for the studs, but TV is still 5" off center. If that back plate could slide over, that would help.
