I checked it on my installed TV of the same size. The available offset slide will be longer than 4 inches for TV's smaller than 65 inches. The best way to negotiate this situation is to install cross bars between the studs that will also make it possible to distribute the weight of the TV evenly.

Answer:	Yes it seems ok.I had the wall mount professionally installed and its more than strong enough to hold the weight of the tv. Besides if the top 2 screws fall off the magnet on the lg mount wont prevent the tv from falling to the ground. Like I said this TV only has two top holes and no bottom holes for a bracket.I didnt know that when I bougt the tv but Im still glad I got the 9500 even If it not properly designed for a wall mount. Tough decision I know but thats all i can tell you.

Answer:	If you mean by "swivel readily" that the joint at the middle of the arm (that doesn't bend) doesn't turn left or right easily I think that allen bolt can be adjusted though I haven't tried yet (I haven't had a need). You probably don't want that joint too loose but it looks adjustable even though the insturctions don't directly call that out and seems like a simple adjustable joint. In my case, I adjust the middle joint by grabbing my TV (32" monitor) on each side and use that as leverage to bend that joint. If you do adjust that joint you might want to remove your TV from the arm before you start to loosen it then put the TV back on and tighten from there. Good luck!
