Answer:	The stands and the KS9000 has "Precision Black Local Dimming" instead of the KS8000's "Precision Black Dimming". Both have HDR and Quantom Dot Technology. They are fairly similar in other respects, but the $300 difference might be worth it if you afford the difference without suffering hardship. Both are in a different class than the KS6300's. The big leap comes if you look at the UN65KS9800. Aside from being curved (because they don't make a flat variant), the KS9800 has almost pixel level backlighting.

Answer:	I'm sorry I did not know this question was a year old. I answered it anyway. Yes it will. You will also need to use the BLUE colored jack as well with your TV. My DVD player does not have an HDMI output. So when I connected it to my TV I had to connect the component video and the audio output like this in order for it to work...... The RED and BLUE from the DVD connected to the RED and BLUE on the blue jack that plugged into the TV. The GREEN wire from the DVD plugged into the Green plug on the yellow jack. The Right Audio Output (RED) from the DVD connected to the RED plug on the yellow jack. The Left Audio Output (WHITE) from the DVD connected to the WHITE plug on the yellow jack. You have to use both jacks to get your video and sound from the DVD to your TV. s
