Answer:	I haven't been able to get it play anything larger than 4.25GB.Update - all of my video files are in MP4 format. Although the player couldn't play any MP4s larger than 4.25GB, when I converted some of the larger files (up to 9GB) to MKV format, and formatted the USB drive as NTFS, it played them without problems.

Question:	I want to see how much time is left in the video. Is there a way to display the time
Answer:	Not that I'm aware of. You can adjust the volume, subtitles, language, ratio, and there's also an option to zoom. I haven't seen an option for length or minutes left in the film but if you stop midway and come back to the film it will ask if you want to start over or resume where you left off. It does not display the time.
Question:	I need to play a video clip over and over. Is there a loop mode on the menu
Answer:	Videos loop seamlessly and indefinitely. The player will also automatically start back up with no user intervention in the event of power failure.
Question:	Can I automatically loop my video with this player. Example: I have a one minute video that I want to loop at our trade show booth. Will this device loop the video
Answer:	Yes, you can. I sell trade show exhibits and this the only unit I use. You can set up the tv at the start of the show and it will just loop the video over and over.
Question:	Can this device read srt subtitles archives

Answer:	Hi! The drive can be Mac or PC. The player USB drives up to 4TB that is formatted with FAT, FAT32, exFAT, HFS+, EXT3, or NTFS file systems. However, note that for HFS+, which is the Mac format, journaling must be disabled. This is a common limitation for non-Apple devices to be able to read USB drives that are Mac formatted.

Answer:	yes. I think the external drive needs to be 4T or less, but that's the only restriction. I have a 2T external drive connected to mine in my van and it has no issues accessing the files without any additional power.

Answer:	It has autostart function, but please note that you need to put the files in the root directory of USB drive, don't use folder. Then it can play the files upon power up / after power loss . Please note that you need to open the auto start function in the settings first.

Question:	I have a 1TB internal hard drive which I want to convert to external for backup storage.Is this a viable solution
Answer:	Depends on the HDD or SSD you are using and how you intend to use it. This drive is really made for fast-access to a variety of different drives for shorter periods. The interface is high-speed, but the case does NOT seal out dust, it does not give any sort of shock/impact damage protection, and not having any sort of cooling, it can get very hot with high speed HDDs. I have a 10k RPM WD Raptor from quite a few years back that I wanted to pull music off of. Over about an hour of usage, it got quite hot. While perfectly fine for intermittent usage, this is not ideal for frequent or prolonged usage given heat is a major catalyst of premature hard drive failure. So with higher RPM HDDs, this is not as good a choice for constant usage as a dedicated enclosure with some shock protection and a cooling fan/heat sinks. With a SSD, this is obviously not of concern. So if your 1tb is a HDD and you want to have it running constantly for backups, an external with a fan and shock protection would be a better match, IMO. Depending on the age of your drive though, it may be worth considering buying a new drive outright given you can get enterprise grade drives like the WD RE4's in that size for under $70 and SSDs have even gotten very affordable. While predicting when a specific drive fails is very difficult to do, standard consumer-grade HDDs tend to have failure rates increase at the 3-4 year mark and really spike at the 4-5 year mark (Google's study on this is the most detailed I know of to date.) An enterprise drive would give you a more reliable backup system with a longer reliable service life, and usually read/write speeds that are 2-3 times faster than standard internal HDDs (of which you would need to use USB3 or ThunderBolt to take full advantage of.)Sorry for the long response.

Question:	Is it possible to plug headphones into this media player
Answer:	To get the player to do a slideshow, youll need to drag all the photographic files onto the root folder of your storage drive (sd card, usb flash drive, etc) You also need to know the location of all your photos on your PC (most people who do file transfers from their camera have theirs set in the pictures folder under documents, this is for windows only) Then youll have to go into settings for the player and set the photos to autoplay. That way when u turn on the device it auto slideshows.

Answer:	No although it will play most formats that I have tried. I have run into a couple but do not recall what they are. I am looking to try and reformat the media to something that will work.
