Answer:	No you do not need more cables. The HDMI cable has both sound and video. You are going to have to trouble shoot each item starting with the cable. And work your way by eliminating each item. Is the cable new and have you used it before with any other device? My blue-ray worked straight out of the box however I had a dvd player already hooked up with HDMI so I simply used all of the same wires. If you had to test the blue-ray player then see if you can hook up some rca jacks the red yellow white ones to the audio portion of the player and the tv. That way you can at least see if you get sound from the blue-ray player. If you have a different device to use the hdmi cable with I would test that but if you have used the cable before and you know it works then yes, you need to start checking settings on the box or even the tv.

Answer:	If you have a 4K TV, it will display the signal it's fed. If you don't have a 4K blu-ray disc then it will upconvert as best as possible but unless you have a 4K player with a 4K blu-ray disc will your 4K TV be able to put out all true 4K in all it's glory. Some blu-ray players enhance or shall we say upconvert the reg blu-ray disc better than others but I'm sure you won't be too disappointed. As time goes by, 4K discs and more 4K movie content will become more abundant and you'll be ready for the future.

Answer:	Ron, there are websites like tv fool dot com to help you locate towers close to you. Just do a Google search. Do a scan with your tv before you head out and buy a booster. You may not need one. Where I am, I can pick up 20 channels including Buffalo and Toronto without a booster. And you can receive signals up to 75 miles with the DB8e. It's an awesome antenna.
Question:	Anyone know the distance between the 2 sections [i.e., middle of antenna A to antenna B]
Answer:	Yes, the distance is 27.5", which gives a 4" clearance between the two grids when parallel to the cross brace.
Question:	Is it possible to run multiple TV's off of this? i.e. Can you connect it to your in-house coaxial cable system and then hook up your converter boxes
Answer:	Yes you can run multiple TVs off of this one antenna. It will take some more equipment to put out an HD signal to each tv. The best way is to use a signal amplifier, and there is another device that works in conjunction with an amplifier to "clean up" the signal even more. If you hook it up straight to your houses current line to feed every other line it will decreas the signal strength it puts out, thereby decreasing the HD quality of every unit in your home just like if you were to have multiple extra lines running off a cable system...it can only go so far. I have this antenna installed about 5 feet above the top story's peak on my house and I get 24 channels in 1080p and a few in 720p, and maybe 1 in 520i. This antenna originally had about 49 channels steaming on my set, but I erased all the analog signals which only will broadcast in low low quality. I never have any problems with my signal in storms or winds now either. It's amazing really. When we are watching a football game people always ask who our provider is because of the amazing picture. They almost never believe me that it's totally free HDtv from an antenna. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I live in Waldorf MD. I am about 35 miles from our towers as well. I tried 3 antennas. Clearstream 2V, DB8e, and the Winegard HD 7694P. The Clearstream 2V worked pretty good, DB8e not as good for me, and the Winegard worked the best by far. Higher is better. I ended up with the 7694 a preamp and distribution amplifier to send throughout the house. I got about 30 channels on the Clearstream but it took a lot of tweaking. The DB8e never dialed in as well. The 7694 worked great the moment I set it down.

Answer:	Patch cables such as these are designed to carry relatively low-level audio and video signals over short distances, provide shielding of these signals from external interference, and also present standardized electrical parameters (such as characteristic impedance and capacitance per unit length) to the equipment to which they are connected. The standardized RG-59 coaxial cable, (as used in these patch cables) is used in consumer and commercial applications because it is cost effective while being adequately durable and efficient. The materials and dimensions used in RG-59 cable must be tightly controlled to meet specifications, and the diameter of the inner conductor is always around 22AWG. If the center conductors was made from heavier wire the other physical dimensions of the cable would also have to be made larger to meet the expected specifications. The resulting cable would be much larger, heavier and more expensive and would require larger, heavier, more expensive connectors as well! And it would not do a much better job of transmitting audio/video signals over short distances - which is the function of a patch cable. To be more concise about all this, suffice it to say, 22AWG gets the job done at a reasonable cost. These are very good patch cables by the way!

Answer:	This doesn't contain a tube power amp. The tubes are only a preamp.
Question:	How do you connect remote power to output 1 with the plug-in power supply included? I would think I need a power inserter
Answer:	Any load from 4 Ohms to 16 Ohms is safe with this amplifier.
Question:	The instructions say to "terminate unused ports with 75ohms for optimum rf performance". what would count as 75ohm terminator and is this a must
Answer:	Amplifiers having fans are built with them for a reason. I wouldn't recommend disconnecting it.
