Answer:	Should work just fine u could go up to 6TB... "6,000GB"... hard drive just make sure u buy new hard drive due to hacking issues.... It's worth the extra $20 promise
Question:	The access to the cameras/DVR is using the local network or goes through a provider's cloud
Answer:	You can access the cameras via your local network or via an specific App available for IOS or Android, Secu365 developed by David Chuang which uses P2P (not the safest protocol) they also offer a website secu365.net, but it is down at the moment (June 27,2016). Maybe it has to do with the fact that 2 similar companies share the same server goolink.org, maocam.com (check it out for yourself--> http://reverseip.domaintools.com/search/?q=secu365.net ) going back to p2p not being the most safe protocol you can check by yourself with any netstat tool or just checking the web activity log on your router it will show the those apps secu365 connect first to some servers in china ( http://wap.qqeye.cn & http://anshijia.push2u.com ) Yes 2 different servers, which is a little bit suspicious.

Answer:	yes the kit will come with 4 65 foot cables one for each camera, these are not wireless cameras. if you are looking for wireless cameras please remember that there is really no such thing, even wireless cameras need to be powered at the cameras witch means every place you want to put a camera there would need to be a power outlet
