Answer:	I set my 8 cam system to record only when motion is detected and I can go back and view clips from a week ago. I imagine with a single terabyte drive you can get between 500-600 hours with the H.264 encoding. So long as its selective recording, such as motion detection, etc. For continuous 24/7 recording that you would probably want to add a 4 terabyte drive to achieve the estimated 600 hours that's advertised.

The "built-in wifi" means the wifi in the NVR and the camera, the camera image is transmitted to the NVR through the "built-in wifi" without any video cable between them. The NVR system is connected to the router via a network cable, not via WiFi, you can remote access via phone and pc. Question:	If I expand to 8 cameras, how is the video displayed? Eight images on one monitor, or could you have 4 images on each of two monitors
Answer:	Hi Psul, Thank you for your question. :) The model you are asking is only with 4 channels. If you need 8 channels expandable, please choose our other model B077SCZ5TL or B077S2F16V. After you add up to 8 cameras, you can choose to show 1, 4 or 8 cameras display on the built-in monitor, or you can show them in other extra bigger size monitor by connecting the recorder's HDMI port in these two expandable models.
