Answer:	I do not consider the tracking noise this camera makes 'low level'. It is loud & very annoying. I bought three & they're all going back. My Canary cams may not tilt & track but they have a much wider field of view & are silent.

Answer:	On the home screen of the app (upper right corner), there is either an icon of a lock, open lock or 3 circles over laying each other. Touch that and you will see a drop down list of the 3 options. Manual, Armed, or Disarmed. There is also an event scheduler, in the new model. Hope that helps.
