Answer:	It seems that you did not disable the motion detector function. I have 2 of these K6000 style cameras that came from different sellers and manufacturers. They are both great cameras. I have them set for 3 or 5 minute files and there is no gap between files because the files record 2 seconds longer. It could be that a new file starts recording 2 seconds before the current file ends. Just a guess but I merged files together and the music did not miss a note and the clock did not miss a second, however you may hear a slight "blip" in the sound at the splice.If your 12vdc power outlet is controlled by the ignition switch you can leave the camera plugged in and the camera will start recording automatically as soon as it gets power. When the power is disconnected the current file will be saved by the internal battery before the camera shuts down.

Answer:	They only rotate in two directions, so the mount has to be horizontal to get the best view, so that would be under an eve. They can wall-mount, but then you only can move the camera up or down to adjust the view, unless you want the camera to twist sideways and give a skewed view on your screen. The base of the camera will twist, the head of the camera will not. In summary, the base of the camera will move left and right, the neck of the camera will move up and down.

Answer:	Yes each camera can be set individually. I recall using drop down menu to select a camera number or to apoly setting to all. Also I believe the recording schedule can be set individually. Also the motion detection and the grid overlay can also determine if a camera will record. There is a setting for always recording in addition to record on motion detection.
Question:	Question 1 : why does it have only 3 power packs
Answer:	One powers the dvr. The other two power 4 camera each. There are 2 four connector pig tale that each plug into a separate power unit. I think the max frame rate is 25 fps. Not certain about the specs on the lenses.
