| Answer: | The receiver for the motion sensor has 4 sectors which can be set up with up to 4 sensors per sector. Each sector will beep 1-4 times depending on which sector has motion detected in it. It will beep 4 times per sector alarm and then silence for 30 seconds. If the person or thing moves within the 'sight' of the motion sensor again, the alarm will beep the appropriate number of times again. It resets and rearms after 30 seconds of no* motion. So yes, it will shut off and stay off unless there is more motion. More motion after 30 seconds and rearming will set it off again. I will add that the range on the sensor is a lot greater than they advertise. I use them around a large field/garden on my farm to alert me of deer eating my crops. They really work. I had an issue with two of my sensors getting moisture inside the sight eye. The mfg did replace them but they said my sensors need to be covered(i.e. a little roof of some sort over them). I had small metal covers over them.......Again they did warranty them. And Amazon was going to honor their Amazon Guarantee also. So, I have purchased additional sensors for my farm. The longest distance I have a sensor from a base/receiver unit is 110 yards and it works fine.I was impressed by the company Skylink and their customer service lady and also by Amazon! |

| Answer: | Existing skylink or toggle switch? Black and white wires should never be a ground. White wires are usually the neutral wire, sometimes referred to as grounded. However, in the skylink switch case, if there are only black and white wires then it's a neutral free switch. If your light is switch fed, the black wire will be the hot coming into the switch box and the white will be going to the light. If your light is light fed then it'll be the switch leg going to the switch box- same situation, black wire on the skylink switch to the hot leg and white wire on the skylink to the return leg to the light. I had a serious cup of coffee before writing this so there may be some typos. If you any questions I don't mind answering if I can. These are really convenient switches. Good luck. |

The SkylinkHome On/Off/Wall Switch Receiver Kit (WE-318) gives you the convenience of controlling your lighting with a Snap-On Remote. This is ideal to turn the lights on as you pull up on your driveway or to turn off the lights from your bedside without getting up to do it. Simply replace your existing wall switch with the new Skylink Wall Switch receiver. Unlike many other brands of wall switches, our Skylink HomeControl Wall Switch receiver doesn’t require neutral wiring, making the installation even easier. Once properly installed you will be able to wirelessly turn the lights on and off with the wall switch or the included Snap-On Remote. | Answer: | Its been a couple of years since your question so this is for anyone later wondering the same thing. If the "Garage Door Sensor Accessory" is the selected accessory above and you look at the picture of it attached to a garage door you may note it is shown attached to the bottom of a sectional door system. Since the door you mention is a "tilt" (opens like a car trunk) simply attach the device to one side of the door and then tack a nice piece of 1" plank several inches long on the door sill so the plunger closes against it. Or, if convenient attach the accessory to the side door sill of the wall so the door closes against the device's plunger and presses it back in. |

| Answer: | Unfortunately this does not work with the old SC-100 sensors. They communicate at very different frequencies. The sensors for the SC-100 are not as advanced as the Skylinknet sensors. |

| Answer: | Rhe range of the motion sensor to the hub is 500 feet in open space. The sensor can detect up to 10 feet in every direction (this is quite a conservative) I have customers whose sensors have picked up motion up to 25 feet away. |
